- Bungie recently anounced their latest edition to the Destiny plush line-up. That being a Riven of a thousand voices plush to coincide with season of the wish. By now you all know how much I adore the ahamkara, so of course I wanted to get one for myself. However this plush has standards... In order to even unlock the ability to buy this plush you need to complete the shooting stars triumph and unlock all 4 catalysts for the Wish Keeper exotic bow. However, on my quest to complete this triumph, I discovered that this plush may be more powerful than it leads on... STAY WARM YALL!

The lore from this mission and the season of the wish has been some of the best since season of the seraph in my opinion. Taranis being such a 180 turn from any other known ahamkara makes him an incredibly interesting character and I am saddened that we most likely won't get much more lore, but I am glad they added him in. Prior to this season I was not the biggest fan of ahamkara as they existed in Destiny, but this season, the dungeon, and this mission have made me a fan of the wish dragons.

Fun fact i tried soloing this exotic mission, the last boss was ass. I hate that boss thank you for taking it down
with gg nighthawk hunter i was able to solo flawless legend pretty easily. just stay on the right side of the boss room and peek out from the wall to damage and refresh buff.
Fun fact: You could solo this prior to last weeks update as there was boss cheese. When you put down the banner at the entrance, if you were using anti-barrier weapon (wish ender) you could shoot the boss through the shield/barrier.

Hey there Toad. Been a year since I've last came to the channel mostly because I put down D2 and pushed myself to fully pursue my dream aspirations in life.
Now that I've gotten to where i need to be, i decided to go down memory lane & see what you've done since then, with the biggest thing being you and Axolochi moving in together (congratulations btw my boy!).
Nonetheless, tho my mind is no longer into D2 like it was after Lightfall dropped & my opinion on the game is still conflicted to not make me pick it up again, i couldn't bear to just pass up the chance to watch your streams & videos like the diehard fan i was back then.

Btw, that Ishtar logo is a callback to some older lore. The Ishtar collective captured a vex goblin, and after some time it started simulating the researchers. The original ones saved the simulated ones, and they all agreed to send the simulations into the vex network, and by extention, into the Black garden. The reports from these simulations are how Ishtar got most their knowledge on the vex. The symbol being here is probably mostly a sign that they’ve been here. Byf has a vid on this you can check out
I ordered the plush as soon as I could, and it arrived in less than a week after ordering. I've never had any Bungie product arrive that quick.
I'm very glad I was able to get one when I could. Not too hard to do the triumph.
Ive got a good idea for the next video. Honestly is just a suggestion but, the first one can be a co tinuation of the DND style raid you guys had. Now that we have the exotic bloodlines that looks like a cross bow you use that as the secondary. Primary has to be a bow of sorts and the heavy also has to be a sword. Supers: titans as void shield, hunters as deadfall, and warlock as dawnblade. Choice or raid is up to you but it would be funny to see VOW.(atleast for me idk about others)

I 1000% recommend giving the 'Aspect' lorebook a read-over. It's back from Season of the Undying, which launched with Shadowkeep, and it details the efforts of a bunch of different simulations of this group of Ishtar researchers from the Golden Age trying to escape from the Black Garden and the Vex Network, assisted by Praedyth - the timelost Guardian from the ill-fated first Vault of Glass fireteam.

I got my 4 catalysts (all done solo, no boss cheese) so I bought this thing, why not. The last time and only time I bought something from the Bungie store was the Archie Dog Plush. Sometimes I just cant resist a nice looking plush and these ones made by numskull are top notch.

what me and my teammates did for this was one of the people would be in the main room just sitting there, out of danger so that if one person, or both people died, we wouldn't wipe. we did the same thing for the boss.

For those who want to get it themselves there is a somewhat safe area at the left of the boss arena near one of the buff wells using that spot me and a friend cleared it second try
Something else that points to Echoes being Venus is that the Citadel from Venus is now in the Black Garden
You can basically cheese the last fight using antibarrier weapons to shoot through the vex wall, and you can refresh the buffs in the previous room too
i stared at the screen for a good second when the notification poped up and went "i need it!" Then i seen the cabal doggo was restocked and i was like dammit! I want that too. :3

A tip for the final boss without cheese...
If solo or in a group, once you drop down and get the 2 buffs book it asap to the RIGHT. Hide behind the big tall central right wall, if between the little forward blocker attached to the big tall central right wall and the stairs leading up towards the blocker wall then the Detainers can't reach you and blowup on on the central right wall. From this location you kill the shield wielding taken, stay near the inner tall wall and the harpeys can't reach you. Wait until the 2nd shield wielding taken comes over, kill him as well. While taking these 2 taken out, when you need to refresh your buff DO NOT go back to the door you came in from but rather run forward over the shield wielding taken and into the buff pool just behind. Quickly get the buff and get back to the safe spot. Once the 2 taken are dead you can jump peek shot over the lower portal of that barrier wall you have been abusing for safety. When the boss transitions to in front of the entrance again stay on the right side and refresh your buff from the same pool as before, jump shot over the lower wall at the boss until he transitions to the far back of the room near where the exit is. Once again the right side is safe, never leave the right side. During the final phase when the boss is in the back you can move around the whole arena a lot more and the boss has pretty limited sight lines but it's not as safe as chilling behind cover on the right. Peek out the left of cover near the entrance then peek out the right side near the buff pool. Rinse and repeat.
Imo the cheese is dumb and takes way too long. Yes all the bosses on Legend are kind of spongey however solo or most especially with a group it's faster to bust out the supers, abilities, heavy weapons and buffs/debuffs and just do the fight normally rather than the 20min of pecking away through a cheesy wall while the boss has no ai... lame, do it legit!
Toad the next you use dragon breath use it like an anarchy type weapon where shoot and switch to a special weapon while ignition are going than repeat.
First week this came out as soon as I hit the quest step I thought I’d be a pro and solo it on legend. Highly unrecommended. But after 2.5 hours I beat the boss by exploiting the arc shields on the harpies. On voidlock no less, especially after using sunbracers for most of the mission. That’s what no well does to a fireteam. Mama didn’t raise a quitter.
I gotta admit though this mission is both beautiful and fun. I get to see the black garden aesthetic more often because no one will run GoS with me. It makes me sad.
Now armed with 4 catalysts I’m on my way to get some premium merch.

Best way to take out all three of the phalanxes in that one room is to tick all the phalanxes down to one, then all you have to do is kill all of them in order, that way you avoid having to deal with additional ads after you had killed one.

Throwing this out on the Ishtar symbol: the Black Garden is the home for three Sol Divisive, a Vex splinter group that initially worshiped the Heart of the Black Garden (vanilla D1 end boss). After we wrecked that god, they turned to the Witness. Once we wipe out the Witness, they'll find something else to worship. And there are simulations of the Ishtar Collective scientists within the Vex Network, including that of Maya Sundaresh, who has shown some level of obsession with power. Maybe she takes over the Sol Divisive after we beat The Witness?
Believe it or not since you were running Arc Titan the shoulder charge melee would've served you WAY better cause it blinds everyone nearby EVEN IF they're protected by an elemental shield.
