Jungle actually WAS mainstream in England, for exactly one minute, in 1994! I was there when it was pouring out of every single high street basement shop. Compilations on cassette tapes were selling at Our Price Records, etc. But jungle only lasted for an ever-evolving five years, or so, replaced by the severely dumbed-down / gentrified, DnB, that went on for 25 BORING YEARS afterwards. This Jungle revival, since about 2022, has felt SO satisfying to a true OJ! Respect to Reaper and Equinox for nailing it perfectly in these 21st Century mixes!!!
