Appreciate the explanation of how you handle your truck to maximize its lifetime. Early 1970's all I had was a pyrometer to manage the turbo. Never had a turbo go bad by paying attention to its temperature. Thankee for the video. Be well.
I had an ‘05 Pete with an MXS twin turbo, tuned by PDI to 700 hp 2100 torque. I ran the I-5 west coast and would pass EVERY truck out there! It was an absolute blast to drive! Sold it to a guy from North Dakota and really regretted doing that! Next truck ‘03 Pete with a 6NZ only putting out 550 lol!
You're getting better mileage with a bigger engine and more weight than my work truck. Barely in 40k with a single axle truck and trailer and get 4 with the m2 freightliner.
Interesting I would’ve thought with a diesel the boost would have helped keep the train rolling so to speak, but I guess that’s what the gears are for!
Please don’t be one of these owner operators that takes off like a snail. It’s one thing to drive efficient, it’s another to get on the freeway doing 30 mph because you won’t grab some gears.
It’s not 900hp buddy maybe 600 900hp out of a power program? Mmmm, without other engine modifications, I just don’t see 900hp coming from a Detroit you probably have to have 600hp or a bit more definitely not 900hp.
Unfortunately you haven't unlocked one of lifes great mysteries. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that pressing the throttle to the floor is gonna use more fuel. Its easy to stay at half throttle on flat ground.

Thanks for your comment, I tried my best to explain the basics.

Thanks for your comment, I'll tell you the sweet spot is in the torque psi
You can believe it is 900 HP, but I sure don't. Keep on truckin!
Nice work!! 😎👌
Nice job
900😂 let's see the dyno
900 HP for what ??? Racing with 80.000 pounds !! Must be a rookie

A lot of factors contribute to a good fuel economy. I'm sure your truck is capable of doing even better.

I'd does, but at a cost of fuel.

Hi buddy, A lot of truckies on you tube run at 65 mph on the interstates for economy. A 900 hp truck is a lot of gee gees.
900?
I have one also
What turbo are you running?
I got a non branded turbo that I don't like very much. Will be replacing it with a borg warner very soon.
yeah my 3500 hp is like that too, with 25 million miles on it, that I drove.
It’s not 900hp buddy maybe 600

Yup...not possible on tune alone.
Its a bull dozer motor run it like a dozer motor!!
Would be more efficient not stood idling
Haters are gonna hate.
79000 lbs is nothing compared to the weights the rest of the world is pulling

Buddy your dreaming
Lost the will to live listening to this guy
900 horses and 7.1/100; BS ; maybe barrels. My friends have trouble getting 4 to 5 and that’s with a 500
Horsepower is just a part of the program, torque, timing and fuel rate is more important to be efficient.
500 what? Vague details on the year, made and model of the truck. No engine details, no details on speed, weight, ratio or where it runs.
Nope. Not even close.
