I launched my Potensic D58 Drone and held the stick back to see how far it would climb. What's the worst that could happen? It has GPS to make it return if it loses signal...
The max height here on the US is 400 feet (122m) above the ground or nearby structure. I don't think the D58 reports altitude correctly, so I can't really determine if my drone broke the law that day. A recent update changed the altitude reporting for my drone, so if I made this video again the numbers may be different.
The bigger image was recorded onto an SD card on the drone. It records to a higher resolution on the SD card than it does to your phone. The smaller pic in pic video was a screen capture from my phone.
@@PubnicoExpat how do I get it to Record to sd? I press record and it mainly shows up from phone. Sd got a little and it was blurry, is there a setting?

Yeah, the drone itself gets the GPS signal, so it can be as far away from you as you want and it will remain locked to GPS. I did lose wifi signal though. The GPS has saved me at least once where I lost sight of the drone and it returned on its own.
@@brettgunderson8040Potensic GPS is the app. For the older version of the app, google "potensic gps version 1.4.2 download". Download and save the file somewhere on your phone. Uninstall the current app. Install the the file you downloaded. This is the extent of technical help I can provide.

I have this drone and i have a Problem with the wifi constantly disconnecting once i get over 150m, do you know if this is fixable?

Once you connect wifi to drone you will get a notification to stay connected click yes

dude your height measurement is completely off
I can only report what the drone app says it is. I doubt it's accurate. It will say "500m", but I think it's probably 500 feet.
Yours has flown past 800m?
According to the app, yes. New version of the app will not allow me to go above 150m.

Can you adjust the camera on this drone while in flight?
You can pan up and down about 90°.
