@@neilsimpson8746 It reminds me of Doug Cowie's decision in 2002 in NZ, when he gave Andrew Flintoff out off Andre Adams and replays showed he missed it by about a foot.
Thing is, this is low level club cricket with zero ability to review anything. Also, the only people that really know that bit of law are those who watch the Mitchell Starc “catch” - it’s an irrelevance at this level.
@@SandersteadCCTV I played at all levels from Yorkshire League to the 4th division of the York Senior League (when in my 60s and captaining the 4ths with a team of 14, 15 and 16 year olds). And that was a lot lower standard than Sanderstead!
I've seen all sorts of decisions which were just blatantly wrong. I'm sure very few umpires would have disallowed that catch because most wouldn't know the rule.
Sad to see the sanderstead 1s turning into dad’s army. Few years back was a side to watch out for. But guess all good things must come to an end.
Got lots of players coming back - it’s all fine, and loads of youth in the wings. Every club goes in cycles
We need to know what Uncle Phil was listening to!
You’re right - I’m on it!!!
Blimey umpire at the road end had a trigger finger
What’s with all the screaming? At least you only have to go there once a season!
That child had a lithium battery and solar charger!
😂 the little bugger didn’t stop!!!
"County level keeper"........... Nah, don't think so.
An absolute dump of cricket ground. Get in, get it played and get out quick. Onwards to next week!
Glad to see their bloke got the memo to maitain some level of village for us viewers by batting with his cap backwards during a league game 😂
😂
Hope the club is in fine fettle on the whole but that first team is way off it.
Clubs in fine fettle - you should see the bar on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Just a few early season availability issues
This team is considerably weaker than the years before, looks more like the 2s team from a few years ago standard wise, what is going on?
People not so loyal and move on.
A few missing - most will be back and we have some newbies.
I think we're seeing a team in transition here, it's been happening gradually but it was evident in this game. When I started watching this channel in 2019 I think they were at their best standard wise, but dropping a division and losing some key players has had an effect, as it would to any cricket team. Still a fantastic watch though!
It would be nice if we as viewers could get updated with team news and the goings on and that kind of thing.
It’s not that organised - we’re just a small club and don’t take ourselves too seriously. I don’t know what’s happening until team sheets come round on Thursdays. Sign up to Fantasy League and you will get team sheets
Where have all your good players gone? Did you get relegated last year and they all left?
Bowler @ 20:46 not even trying to bowl, completely chucking it. Umpire must have been bribed as he triggered everyone for Sanderstead and people on the boundary completely unaware of flying cricket balls...Absolute Village. AND massive over celebrations from one of the teams.....but some good cricket on show.....
Call me a purist but dont like seeing their batters batting with reversed caps.
"hint of luck" aka, shit gets wickets
Also, glad you've stopped calling Andy Joseph, Andy Johnson, kept confusing me!!
Same umpire gave all the bad decisions.
It happens!
Yeezzz 2 matches and 2 lost !!! well long season ahead, hope to see SCC winning again... No tyler this season ??? also not typical english cricket ground...seems more like a park??? it looks like where we play here in Panama but in much better conditions ! ! lol !!!
Yes - tough ground that could be som much better if the council spent more time on it. Tyler back next week - he’s a sports teacher and has to work some Saturdays.
@@SandersteadCCTV thanks for ur rply Mr Allen
Bowling let you down. Really weak.
Still should have got the runs!
you guys got scammed off 3 wickets by that biased umpire
It happens - through Chris felt his LBW was plumb. Sadly I was distracted and started the camera a few seconds late.
Blimey what’s happened? Your twos would have beaten this lot not so long ago…..
A few missing, but back this week.
Wait so Harris was considered not good enough, but Keys… who didn’t even want to really be playing is in the first. How odd.
Harris is good enough - but he’s chosen to play elsewhere.
Harris left the club?
Are you getting an overseas player this season
Yes - he’s going to Valley End.
Yes, once the home office give us the go ahead!!! Mikey waiting at the airport….
Wot, no Pilgrim. Very poor show.
10:31 ball is clearly on the ground poor sportsmanship from the fielder not a catch
