My name is Darshan Patel . I completed my first biomatric on November 23, 2022, at the Ahmedabad VFS Center. and I had done so, but it had not been updated on the IRCC, so they gave me my bio-matric letter again on December 12, 2022. but it was also not updated on the IRCC portal. December 20, 2022 It was my 3rd biomatric, and I was applying online, but my application was denied because it was already existed on the VFS portal. This issue has been solved and again I did my bio matric on 30th of January 2023. but still I can not see any update on IRCC portal. My application Number and UCI id here I mention and I attached all the documents which prove that I did my bio matric successfully but it can not updated. IT is more then 3 months, yet I suffer this problem. My visa file already in reviewing by IRCC. Kindly resolve this problem and give me a wise solution. I am waiting for your reply or Next action. I hope you consider it on priority based and reply me as soon as possible.

I could not get to send the completed form for my biometrics to the Canadian High Commission in Trinidad because it is blocked or locked. How do resolve this issue?
My biometrics not updated yet and is been like that since 23 oct. Though secondary applicant update immediately and showing submitted but the primary applicant did not update till now showing that your action is required . I also check the validity tool and is saying not valid or unavailable. I have no idea what to do in this case.
Today was my biometric but in application status they are showing we need your fingerprints to process your application there is not my biometric no. Mention no expiry date and date what does it mean what to do ? Plz reply
I have done my biometrics on October 6 but ircc shows they still require my fingerprints and is not update yet.but the applicants information is showing biometric number expiry and all.As in the video I have checked the validity and it shows my biometric is still valid for 10 years.Why is in the ircc visa status my biometrics still not updated and is there anything I should do to correct it other than waiting hopefully!?

Thanks for the video. My biometrics was on March 2021, it is showing exactly as in the first page of video. Completed date and expiry are showing,but at bottom says finger prints not received. I had created web form few months back and received reply from IRCC saying that Biometrics received at VFS office and will let you know if something required. Hey! I gave my biometrics on 20th october 2021, and it’s been 8 days but my portal shows biometrics are not completed, however under applicant information the date, enrolment number and the expiry date are visible, also I checked their validity, it shows they are valid for the next 10 years. what do i do? Ive raised several webforms and emailed the embassy but I have not received any response from their end.
maybe its just late on updating your gckey account. But noting that you had been provided the expiry date and effectivity period it means you had passed your biometrics.
@@ayushigarg2872 If they require you to do another biometrics, they will send you another request form through your gckey account. Still you have to wait for this letter to book another biometrics appointment. Therefore you still need to wait. If no reply on the webform, you can try doing GCMS. This is 1 month process but you can see all that happened in your account and this is for sure the updated status of your application
While taking Biometrics my fingerprints didn't came properly. Only two fingers shown green light. The instructor told me that it won't be a problem. But now it's been more than 1month, it is not updated yet but it is showing the expiry date of 10years . In the current status, first it was your action is required and now it changed to submitted. I sent them several webforms and they replied that it maybe because of technical issue. I'm so worried of this.

I gave my biometrics on 19 th October. But it's not yet updated only enrolment expiry date is showing. And the number. There no update yet. What should I do?
It might be a delay in updating your account. You can also send webform to ircc or call the vfs center you had taken your biometrics. Or if the vfs chatbox is available in your country you can send a message to them too.

I just want to ask something, Last October 10 I had my flight from Manila-JPN-Canada, when I was in Japan we found out that my medical was already expired so I went back here in the Philippines. I already done my remedical last October 25th. Your medical exam doesn't have any effect on your biometrics. As for the evaluation of your medical, the period of time they give results varies. Maybe you can wait for a month. If there is no reply, kindly send webform and maybe you can indicate your intake and the urgency of you coming here to Canada due to face to face class
My biometric was done on 15th of July in application information my biometric number, date of bio, expiry date is mentioned but still it says we have not received your fingerprints i have raised webform and twice mailed them too still no response what to do??
@@leid4059 ok but in my biometric instruction letter my family name is mentioned twice as Noronha Noronha so vfs global had asked me to drop a mail to Delhi immigration to rectify it. Is it because of this reason taking long time?

Yes u have to send email or webform because it has been a while, half a year already. Usually biometrics are updated 1 to 2 days after u had given your finger prints

For TRV i am not sure but u can visit ircc website and check the processing time. I am only assuming that you are from India because of your name, processing time is 176 days if you applied outside Canada

What we did during the 2nd biometrics of my daughter, we provided medical certificate from her dermatologist stating about her skin condition. Then this was forwarded by vfs to ircc.

@@poojan6166 so recieved repeate biometric instruction letter after 1-2 months of 1st biomtric . Then i gave it second time then it got updated finally. You just have to wait either it will uldate automaticly (only 10% chance) or u will also have to give again but only if u get new bil from ircc. Keep checking gckey status for any change

Hi - So I applied for super visa for both of my parents. Both got Biometric request together - for one of my parent it says completed and for my mother it says in progress - I did the check like you have said in your video and I can see that IRCC has details of Biometric for both of my parents - but why does it still says in progress for my mother, will it get updated, its been more than a week now - my fathers status got updated to completed within a day.
@@tirumala_ch I will be completed automatically i waited 3 days after the biometric and now it confirmed , if its more than week you can contact the VFS global.

I gave my biometrics on 28 April but it has not been updated in my gc key account yet at first it was showing as we need your fingerprints but it changes to we haven't received your fingerprints why is this happening
You have to call the VFS office where you had your Biometrics been taken. In my country (Philippines) they have also chat facility in their website to answer queries.
You can call the vfs office where you had taken your biometrics. To get a faster answer instead of emailing them. If still, you weren't able to get an answer, write ircc a webform

@@inderjotsingh2930 there is. IRCC will send you another request for BioM and u dont need to pay for it. You will only be asked to go to vfs office and give ur BioM

Hi, what kind of correspondence? Does it says the validity of your biometrics? Or an instruction to tske biometrics? If you had given your bio and in your GCKEY account it says "Completed". Nothing to worry about.
@@wolverine1151 It is a good thing that it is about the validity. Meaning your biometric was already completed. It happened that your gckey was not updated. You can send webform for your gckey update.
hai i applied for PR to canada.and i got biometric instruction mail from ircc.but my son mail not came at all.Me and husband only came biometry.Husband is primary applicant. so i have doubt about my son file.if any one know pls give information.My son have 2 and half year only.
If you need to redo you will received a letter of instruction from them. Just wait, maybe your BioM still being reviewed. You can also call vfs to confirm.
@@sophieblack4144 but have you seen from ircc website that your Biometrics is "valid"? Because usual time to see the result in gckey is a day after. In case there is a problem ircc will send you correspondence if you need to make a retake of your BioM

You can follow up by sending webform. Or you can request GCMS.

It’s the same problem with me, I submitted my Biometrics on the same day. We have to wait for 10-15 days.

Well the site is not picking up uci no. Because it has to 8 or 10 dingits but ihave uci with 9 digits how its possible mam tell me

This is normal. Since you had provided your biometrics. Wait for ircc review. After the review they will indicate if you passed or not.

You have to email ircc so that they can update
@@leid4059 IRCC sends an auto email stating they will reply within 30 days, but usually, they won't reply, any other way you have?

How To Check my Medical is Submt or not on application Status Tools ?
You can contact the clinic or medical institution where you had your medical exam. As for the side of ircc you can send webform to ask them.

Hi - So I applied for super visa for both of my parents. Both got Biometric request together - for one of my parent it says completed and for my mother it says in progress - I did the check like you have said in your video and I can see that IRCC has details of Biometric for both of my parents - but why does it still says in progress for my mother, will it get updated, its been more than a week now - my fathers status got updated to completed within a day.
Hey did the biometrics of your mother updated on gckey ? And after how many days ?

i waited 3 days after the biometric and now it confirmed , if its more than week you can contact the VFS global.

I gave my biometrics on 28 April but it has not been updated in my gc key account yet at first it was showing as we need your fingerprints but it changes to we haven't received your fingerprints why is this happening

You have to call the VFS office where you had your Biometrics been taken. In my country (Philippines) they have also chat facility in their website to answer queries.

You can call the vfs office where you had taken your biometrics. To get a faster answer instead of emailing them. If still, you weren't able to get an answer, write ircc a webform

@@inderjotsingh2930 there is. IRCC will send you another request for BioM and u dont need to pay for it. You will only be asked to go to vfs office and give ur BioM

All the correspondence with IRCC you can see your UCI number. You can alao check your GCKey in your application you can see the UCI

It will be on your BIL. If you haven’t received your BIL it’ll be in your correspondence mail or in your GC key account
@@pm3436 I had filed my visitor visa in May 2019 and it got rejected because of my father's documents and now I need to file a student visa again. Also all the mails are deleted.
In this case, in my knowledge, if you have applied through an agent they can help you to get your GC Key or your UCI.
If this doesn’t works for you then you can try sending a web form to IRCC explaining your situation.

Yes i think too there is delay in updating the gckey. You can also request GCMS to know the current status of your application

I have received correspondence letter for providing biometrics but it is not showing updated on status. Do I need to email them or raise webform? Does this cause delay in getting the decision of my application?
Hi, what kind of correspondence? Does it says the validity of your biometrics? Or an instruction to tske biometrics? If you had given your bio and in your GCKEY account it says "Completed". Nothing to worry about.

@@wolverine1151 It is a good thing that it is about the validity. Meaning your biometric was already completed. It happened that your gckey was not updated. You can send webform for your gckey update.

There is no need for biometric for your son. Only those between the ages of 14 and 79 must provide their biometrics

If you need to redo you will received a letter of instruction from them. Just wait, maybe your BioM still being reviewed. You can also call vfs to confirm.

@@sophieblack4144 but have you seen from ircc website that your Biometrics is "valid"?
Because usual time to see the result in gckey is a day after. In case there is a problem ircc will send you correspondence if you need to make a retake of your BioM
