This has to be the most insightful and inspiring interview. Fabrice was so open and honest. I have always felt that they were talented and charismatic back then. Great interview 👍🏾

Great interview. I used to have a crush on Fab, back in the day, you can’t blame me right he is special. But getting to understand him more in this interview, he is genuine, intelligent, gifted, full of insight, strong of character. He overcame adversity being used, and abused. He is amazing and still very much loved. That’s for sure.
Hands down the greatest album of my childhood. This music made me happy. The beautiful faces of Rob and Fab will always make me smile. I will always be heartbroken at the loss of Rob. It simply didn’t have to be that way. Even as a kid I didn’t understand the big deal. It’s not like they had any say in how this went down. Of course it was common practice. Typical. I’m glad Fab is doing well. Great interview!
By far one of the best interviews! Both guys take you through the journey of what happened with Milli Vanilli. Fab is a beautiful soul, very candid and authentic. He is humble and explains himself really well. Glad he bounced back!
This man is so soft-spoken, sincere, and genuine. I feel bad for what happened. When I listen to Milli vanilli today yet it's still Rob & Fab singing those hit songs in my mind blocking out the fact that it's not really their real voices.
Best interview ever! Fab Morvan is a special soul, a gift to humanity. He is an example of how to rebound. I wish him continued success in all his endeavors. He has the wisdom of the sages of old. He understands that things happen for a reason and that those lemons give you an opportunity to make lemonade. He connects with his fans heart to heart.
Wow. I cried, especially at the end. When you fall always stand back up. I will always remember that. I cake across Milli Vanili coincidentally via YT. Been a fan ever since. I have so much respect for Fab, such an inspirational soul. Just wow. Thank you for such an incredible interview. Hands down one of my favourites
Honestly the guys still put much effort and energy into the project like they owned it. Think of the choreography...many concerts...sleepless nights....the hard work. Their sin was only that they were not involved in the 5 hours recording session.
My take on this interview: As long as you breathe, the game keeps going! Never give up simply because you can always choose to give up! It's not a weakness vs strenght, it's simply shows the power of choice and commitment. Nice interview!
Have listned his all the songs. He is a good singer. With every word he speaks just feel his good spirits, humbleness and good heart 🥰 He is a beautiful soul with full of energy and peace. His voice is so melodical 😍 Respect Fab 🙏🏼
What a great interview, I really enjoyed it. I love the clarity in the way Fab communicates. The interfaith is really noticeable in his voice. He sounds like a very smart dude.
This is a great interview! Fab just woke me all the way up. How no one never brought up the fact they were lip syncing singing at the Grammys. But...the Grammys which is the industry...didn't know what was going on? Please ...they all knew. I think more of this goes on in the industry more than people know.
I still listen to the songs in my car today. The songs are classic. I was in the bank and a woman messed up her account and the teller told her not to beat up her side because it is raining outside. I began to sing, "Blame it on the rain. It was falling, falling." Everyone in the line began laughing. Man, I love the songs. I wish Rob hadn't died and I hope Fab bounces back big time.
I had the privilege to meet Robert in the mid nineties via a friend of his named Rita. He seemed very defensive at first, but after a few months, we managed a friendly way to get along. Rita and I actually saved Robert' s life during an overdose. He wouldn't had made if it wasn't for us stopping by and checking on him while he was staying at the St James . He told me part of his life experiences and he ended shedding tears of sadness. I knew then that he was traumatized. I recommended therapy and rehabilitation to him. I remember displaying a happy face when I took a couple Quick and Split burgers for him. I also saw him laying at the stairs to the upper bar at the Rainbow . I carried him out and took him to his place. I felt that I did the right thing. He confided a secret to me that he probably did not tell anyone else. Sad that he is gone.

Others like former Miss Universe ( Dayanare Torres), Ivana Trump( President's ex-wife and others. But Robert stood out more. He is suppose to be alive but the pressure of past glory and it's downfall was to much for him to handle. May He rest in peace.
Long time Milli Vanilli fan so this was an awesome surprise. Great interview! Even before I knew much about what had gone on behind the scenes, I didn't think Rob & Fab deserved the treatment they received after their secret was exposed. Frank Farian should've let them sing from the beginning. Look up their live performance of an unreleased song called "Don't Give Up the Fight." So happy Fab hung in there and he's doing very well for himself now.

I don’t know why this interview and the one with Vlad came into my feeds. I was a huge fan as a child of Milli Vanilli and I also remember the whole issue that happened at that time. And to hear Fab tells us the story and how he is now as a human being. It is so inspiring. It just show us that the journey of life is never over and there is more to work on and do everyday. Thanks for this one Pat
🧡💜💙💚❤ Love it, thank you very much for this interview!!! I was in Germany at the height of MilliVinilli...exciting times! It is great to hear from Fab and I am so happy he has redeemed those years in a fabulous way. Continued success and abundance~
Great interview. I was talking with some coworkers today and boom Milli Vanilli came up and I just dove into youtube to watch “girl you know it’s true” and then stumbled on this. Best thing i’ve watched in a few months. Glad Fab is doing great. Keep working man.
Fantastic in depth interview. They were and still are my all time fantastic group. My sadness for Milli Vanilli shows with what happened with Rob. They were both robbed of their dignity from the very start and that is something no one should ever take from someone. It would be a different story if they met a humble producer at the start. My hat goes off to you Fab. You are a gentleman and a humble being. My young kids love you and Rob and the performances you have us. I will never forget what you gave my childhood and I still follow you to this day on UA-cam. Go in peace brother the world is your oyster and you have redeemed both you and Rob. Fab is just a man so down to earth, inteligent, and with a particular charm! I love him, he managed to get out of that scandal so well, I'm glad he got the chance to pull himself together and live a happy life. I wish him the best🥰
After being ridiculed, made fun of, and had his life turned upside down for the world to see.........I seriously it would bother him that he looks older doing an interview.
Valuetainment congrats to you for carrying out one of the smoothest and professional interviews carried out on the Milli Vanilli story. May God continue to bless Fab and may God shine perpetual light on Rob's soul.
30 years later Fab free-flows thru the story in such a visual & quietly dramatic way. He explains it so the listener gets a real taste of the music industry. I like how Bet-David directed the interview hanging on every word & picking his place to interject questions without rudely interrupting.
These two guys were geniuses to perform to someone else singing perfectly...bro that takes a lot of training and perfection...so sorry one died..but the wish you well🙏
I love that this story is out now and Fab CAN SING! I don't know why they didn't just use his voice in the first place! Love hearing the songs with his real voice!
When he mentioned Clive Davis that was enough for me to fill in all his blanks. Fab comes across as a decent, kind man and he will get his flowers, if not in this life than in the next x
I prefer to trick my self in to believing that Rob & Fab are singing those awesome songs, would prefer if they did Milli Vanilli will always be Rob & Fab
It was really good hearing the true story behind Milli Vanilli, cuz I remember it so well when the story broke out in the media, that they weren't singing themselves. I so feel for them. It's a shame that Producers are using AND ABUSING people like this, for their own gain. Why wouldn't they get the chance to sing themselves??? I know Fab got the voice for it. The music industry is so rotten! Through the core!.... All my love to you guys. Great interview, Patrick.
Love your show! I too was in Germany (Schweinfurt) with the US Army when Milli Vanilli blew up. Fab is an amazing individual. So glad to see how well he is doing. 😎

Such a great interview. It's really a shame their real voices weren't used, they have so much talent. I went back and listened to Fab at some concerts he performed at and the Arsenio Hall performance, it shocks me theor voices weren't used! I like Fabs voice more than the original. So much talent, he could be a triple wammy.😊💖 Also, how on earth does this man not age, he is still turn your head gorgeous!
There is a documentary on Paramount plus Ref: Milli Vanilli. It is well worth watching! Tremendous. I loved this act back in my day. No denying it. They got shafted. Young artists, told lies by the industry scoundrels.
Great interview, I really respect this gentleman he is very humble and disciplined and has a good head on his shoulders for sure, I think he's going places...

His story is so inspirational I took away the fact that life goes on and the storm doesn’t last forever. Pick yourself up study your craft and you will see better days.
This is one of the best interviews ever and it really touched me on so many levels: life lessons, stardom, human fallacies, showbiz, Darwin, and the eternality of the human spirit. I lived in Bavaria at that time and many things that Fab mentioned resonated with me and are true to this day.. It's also true what Patrick said, MV for sure had two qualities out of three and could have potentially been a "triple threat" by the grace of the universe. One of the best and most sincere interviews I have ever seen, highly recommended for every aspiring artist, producer and student of the human spirit. Thank yous!
This is one depth of an interview Pat, well done. I love these chaps Milli Vanilli; irrespective, they remain one of my all time best and they remain evergreen to me... They were victims of Frank Farian's greed not their making at all. Fab, thumbs up to you, keep bouncing back.
I enjoyed this interview. I have always loved and been a fan of Milli Vanilli. I was obsessed with Rob. It's such a tragic story and it's so sad how so many of their fans just hated and turn away from them after the scandal. Rob and Fab were awesome performers, entertainers, actors, and dancers. That's what sold these albums!!!!!!! And if Rob and Fab would have been the real singers from the beginning they still would have gone to the top like they did. Everyone got screwed by Frank Farian including the real singers. Frank admitted to orchestrating the Milli Vanilli scandal and he still got away with it?!?!?! WHY???? Why didn't Frank Farian get in trouble or why wasn't he sued for all this mess that HE made? WTH?!?!?! I don't get it!!! It's very upsetting that Rob and Fab got their grammys taken away from them and left with lawsuits but Frank continued to live rich and continues grow old (78 years old), when poor Rob only lived to be 33 years old and all Rob wanted was to sing. I'm sure it pained Rob that he was given up for adoption and that he felt like an outsider during his childhood but he was trying to make something of himself with music and I believe he would have been alright if he would have been given the chance. But in the end he struggled with suicide and drug abuse because he was unable to handle the negativity and embarrassment of the Milli Vanilli scandal which I believe drove him over the edge. To this day I continue to listen and to watch their videos because I will be a forever fan of Milli Vanilli. RIP Rob, I love you.
He spoke his truth. That gave us the inside job of the music industry. And in the end came out shinning. With love , determination and passion. I grew up with my two favorite heroes Fab and Rob.💯🥇 people now know great interview.
Well said Fab!!! Way to go😘 Taught me so many great life leasons here. Just the way Fab explain it with rationale and how he provides quotes is something you see written as reflections of some of the greatest and wisest man. This just goes to show he survived and survived on top because he is smart, kind and has passion. You are an inspiration to us all Fab!!!!!😍😘
I always liked them even after truth came out I never stopped listening to the music. I never understood people trashing their albums if the music is good it’s good that’s how I feel. We should always keep their memory alive. Thanks PBD great interview you and Fab connected ! Was great to see ! Keep up the great work !!!
_Victim's of the industry_ - Definitely. The only apparent good clause in Frank's contract that benefited Fab was that Fab gets to look aged 22 forever.
Amazing interview ! Will always support Fab and remember Rob. I was born too late so i didn't grow up with them (i'm 22) but there's nothing i love more than 80s music. And Milli Vanilli was great music no matter what happened !
I was a manager at a Sam Goody store and was lucky enough to go to a listening party with this man at the height of it. It was at a hotel and the other half of the duo was reportedly to “out of it” to come down to the bar and mingle. So many memories of my Goody days😂. GOODY GOT IT!
I was a sophomore in high school at the time. I never saw it as a disappointment, I just felt bad for those guys. There was a "leave them alone" mentality about it. Everyone in school was talking about it, talk shows, etc. To this day, I still listen to the music. I remember being in Germany with the Army from 93-96. I searched high and low to find that CD.
I’m so glad you did this interview... was nice to hear him tell his side of the story… It’s so nice to see that he is happy… Thank you for this I enjoyed it so much… My heart still breaks for the situation that happened with them and the loss of Rob… I was a fan of them when I was in school...The world should learn to forgive and have Grace

Will definitely check out your new stuff. To Patrick, you did such an amazing interview by unveiling a lot of personal details but with enough respect for Fab. I really enjoyed watching it. Tq guys!! 👍😎

This has to be the most insightful and inspiring interview. Fabrice was so open and honest. I have always felt that they were talented and charismatic back then. Great interview
👍🏾
Long live FAB MORVAN.... R.I.P. Rob Pilatus... We love you guys
Fab is so down to earth--One can't help but like him!!! He must have had a good foundation set by his family!! or he did it himself!!
He’s Capricorn, they’re always down to earth like that! So calm inside!
@@AdeBisiGodsfavour am capricorn..very determine, dont give up so easy, overcomer inspite of situations..but cry deep inside or like a butterfly in a cacoon..that will eventually come out and be adventurous
Good to see him standing upI I am glad to see a strong and beautiful man that survived those hard times!
Is it me or is his face a composite of very early 20s Michael Jackson and Mos Def, so beautiful…
This man is so soft-spoken, sincere, and genuine. I feel bad for what happened. When I listen to Milli vanilli today yet it's still Rob & Fab singing those hit songs in my mind blocking out the fact that it's not really their real voices.
I love the song that Fab and John Davis sings "Someday"
After seeing this I can honestly say I misjudged this man badly.
Fab, you're a great and intelligent man. Hope all your experiences, whether bad or good, just made life better for you.
😂
Amazing interview and truly enjoyed, as Fab said... Determination, believe and hard work, there is never too late to reach your goals. Much Love 😍
Honestly the guys still put much effort and energy into the project like they owned it. Think of the choreography...many concerts...sleepless nights....the hard work.
Their sin was only that they were not involved in the 5 hours recording session.
They could’ve made it on totally legit terms. All they needed to do was sing. They were the ones who came up with everything except for the songs.

Also, I like how he speaks through analogies and metaphors.
Is the rainbow a gay bar? Was he gay? Did u know frank?
@@sarahbrinkley2180 it was a mixture of all kinds of individuals. It did attract a lot of porn actors and actresses back then. But it was fun being there for dancing upstairs and dinner at times. And it was the usual place to find out where the after hours location was going to be at . I had a blast overall. I hope that you did have fun if you ever went there 👍
@@sarahbrinkley2180 I don't recall knowing Frank. But I met so many different individuals while staying with a girl and named Rita on Franklin Ave near La Brea and Hollywood Bld.
I’m glad you treated him nicely. It’s sad he broke down when he told you about his life. Was it about his adoption? I’m sure he was messed up from that. Poor guy just needed some love.
@@lovelydoll1477 it must been about his past. I learned that one must see the goodness in a person. All of us have kindness and goodness within us but at times we have them both locked in. I have met important individuals in my life like Actor Lee Richardson(The Fly, Brubaker, Broadway plays) who lived in Connecticut. I stayed at his house and met his wonderful family. Others like former Miss Universe ( Dayanare Torres), Ivana Trump( President's ex-wife and others. But Robert stood out more. He is suppose to be alive but the pressure of past glory and it's downfall was to much for him to handle. May He rest in peace.
Love fab. Such a genuine guy. His vlad TV interview is one of the very best
Yes sir 👍
Hands on. Fab is great!
Exactly. This one here is just a knockoff. Lol
I pray God continues to bless Fab in abundance and keep him safe and keep him close to Him always
These guys were misunderstood! Sad. Fab got a whole new respect from me. This guy is real and humble
I absolutely loved Milli Vanilli music! These passionate guys and great souls got played by one off those vampires!
The saddest thing about the story is, that Rob can't sit beside Fab anymore to tell their side of it
Love you on your comment I miss Rob so much
@@ShaniTrahan-j9hyes, me too. I truly had wished him a long and happy life
Wow, powerful interview, powerful story! Passion, skill, faith and never give up.
MilliVanilli deserves
Their Grammy
plus an Oscar.
Worldwide Fans after 30th + years still Listening and Loving
their Performance.
Those are undoubtedly statement that they leave a permanent footprint in the Music.

🧡💜💙💚❤
Love it, thank you very much for this interview!!!
You need to come to Australia we miss you! #Fabmorvan
Amazing man he is for being so strong and having faith to come back. He is a true inspiration.
Fab is just a man so down to earth, inteligent, and with a particular charm! I love him, he managed to get out of that scandal so well, I'm glad he got the chance to pull himself together and live a happy life. I wish him the best🥰
This guy doesn’t age?!? 😳
That was my first thought
Black don't crack
it's not a coincidence that they made the room very dark, cause he looks old now ofcourse.
After being ridiculed, made fun of, and had his life turned upside down for the world to see.........I seriously it would bother him that he looks older doing an interview.
Health is wealth!
I love how great he has gotten at English since his beginnings in milli vanilli
These long ass videos are perfect to watch at work.
Lmao you clearly aren't working when at work.
Headphones 🎧
I use them on the train back home.
Get to work slacker! 😉
I'll never hire a guy like you but I'd love to be your friend. High five
Valuetainment congrats to you for carrying out one of the smoothest and professional interviews carried out on the Milli Vanilli story. May God continue to bless Fab and may God shine perpetual light on Rob's soul.
I was hooked on VH1's Milli Vanilli Behind the Music... this is a good closure
30 years later Fab free-flows thru the story in such a visual & quietly dramatic way. He explains it so the listener gets a real taste of the music industry. I like how Bet-David directed the interview hanging on every word & picking his place to interject questions without rudely interrupting.
Great interview. The power of getting back up and moving forward.
They just young kids who has a Dream..please give the award back and they deserve a movie on this..please..please..stay safe Fab..Great job..Thank you still listening to your music and watching your music videos..👍🏼👍🏼
Fab Morvan..Class Act then and now..thx...loved the dancing...love your courage..always love the MUSIC...still have and still enjoy my cassette...
It was my favorite music when I was in my undergraduate program 1991. Never thought that this is a lisping. But it is still the best ever. Go ahead !!!!
Where was this little Jewel of an interview hiding for one whole year? WTF? I literally stalk valutainment every day for good videos and this managed to elude me for 12 months. Thanks UA-cam.. you guys are terrific..
Wonderful interview...one of my favorites...Hes very likable..I would have liked for you to touch more on Rob and his opinion on his death and so forth but still, great interview. Fab is freaking genuine....isnt that ironic!
He talks about Rob at length in his VLAD interview
Recipe for overcoming and success:
1. Go back to your passion.
2. Improve in a skill that has to do with your passion.
3. Bank on your faith. Have faith that things will get better (that things will work out).
4. Keep making progress even if it is at turtle 🐢 speed.
Thanks for the take aways, Fab. I will join your insta.
Wow what a great interview very inspiring I'm glad that that Fab did not let negativity of the situation ruin him
Amazing interview I absolutely loved it...rip Rob that’s so sad...and all the best to Fab on his journey 🙏🏻
Well said in this interview Fab Morvan. I am glad you are back again in the music industry.
He spoke his truth. That gave us the inside job of the music industry. And in the end came out shinning. With love , determination and passion. I grew up with my two favorite heroes Fab and Rob.💯🥇 people now know great interview.
Well said Fab!!! Way to go😘
Taught me so many great life leasons here.
I thought Rob was funny and had a big heart I really wish he had the support system to survive it’s not easy fighting alone in a dark place with demons. Fab is strong he made it his talent shines through I can clearly see his passion and the love he has for his brother Rob. So proud of him. So proud of Milli Vanilli. We should always keep their memory alive. Thanks PBD great interview you and Fab connected ! Was great to see ! Keep up the great work !!!
Excellent interview
FAB super star
Story Milli Vanilli
Victim's of the industry .
I still listen and have the original CD, my 1st CD ever in the day.
I was a manager at a Sam Goody store and was lucky enough to go to a listening party with this man at the height of it. It was at a hotel and the other half of the duo was reportedly to “out of it” to come down to the bar and mingle. So many memories of my Goody days😂. GOODY GOT IT!
"IT WAS GOOD, BUT OBVIOUSLY IT WAS WRONG" i felt that one
Loving it!

Subtitulo?
I was a sophomore in high school at the time. I never saw it as a disappointment, I just felt bad for those guys. There was a "leave them alone" mentality about it. Everyone in school was talking about it, talk shows, etc. To this day, I still listen to the music. I remember being in Germany with the Army from 93-96. I searched high and low to find that CD.
Absolutely. I was in my late 20's.
Those two guys will always be Milli Vanilli to me. Their vibe and personality was unmatched!
What an incredible heart Fab ,You are such an inspiration ,I'm sorry you fell into "their" web.So happy you were so strong ...God Bless Frank!!!
I don't know why i stumbled upon this? First thing first, the interview knows how to ask questions. Fab, God bless in all your endeavors
