So glad you are back. I am sorry the learn of your niece and nephew’s cancer diagnosis. I am a retired cancer care research nurse. Treatments are hard but they have made great strides in disease control and cure. I’m from Canada so I know your health care system is different. I hope they don’t have huge costs associated with their care. Love your charming videos.

I finally had a chance to watch your video. My Heart goes out to you and your family. The cancer journey is never an easy one. My daughter was diagnosed with cancer 8 years ago a the young age of 22. I am thankful she is a “survivor” but we understand what families go through during their journey. Because of her cancer journey we have be able to start a cancer foundation “The Hand I Was Dealt” to help cancer patients and their families in Northern Minnesota. Since 2014 when we started our foundation and became non profit, we have helped close to 100 families with their travel needs during their cancer journeys. From our family to yours, we send hugs love prayers and strength. I immediately went to your shop and purchased the pattern fiber and fabric.....glad to be a part of your fundraiser for your family.

Scuppernong sounds like an ale that ships' captains would drink when they came into port. I think the Prairie Schooler Village would be a wonderfully large stitch as I love building designs. My son battled stage 4 cancer twice starting at age 18, in his first year of college. Every bit helps with donations and gift cards...it truly does. Well, FANCY THAT, I love all of your giveaways! I love Heart In Hand designs and would love Ye Old Crow. The Prairie Village is so cute too! I love the Strawberries and Stripes and I would have to add accessories to it with some of my button stash. Some strawberry buttons would be the perfect accessory for sure! Scuppernong is a type of grape. It can be green or a bronze color I do believe. I only know this because of going on a winery tour in Georgia.

the green floss you have and the word, which I not can said, is difficult to say what it means I have to make a choise. I think it kind of a plante, how has fruit or flowers on so you can hand dye floss maybe also fabric.

I do know what Scuppernong is only because I read about it in a book years ago & looked it up: It's a type of grape that grows in the south, also known as muscadine, used for wine making, jelly, eaten raw. Similar to a green grape but larger.
Scuppernong sounds like the name of a fairy tale figure, like a little gnome or elf 😄

I’ve seen the color scuppernong thread and thought it had something to do with boats. I love your rosette finish. I can see making them with all sorts of holiday themed paper. Using bamboo skewers to hold them up. I’m interested in accessories always, it makes everything more fun. Also autumn samplers, ye old crow and strawberry stripes.
It must be a swamp monster! I used to work in the accessories department in a department store, very interesting until inventory. When in high school I dated a guy from Prairie Village Kansas, didn’t realize it was to become the home of Prairie Schooler. Scuppernongs are huge grapes. I first had them on my very first visit to Alabama. That was 20 years ago and is no my second home. If I had to choose my favorite cross stitch accessory / accessories, it would have to be scissors and needle minders. The Fanci That chart looks like fun. I love Heart in Hand patterns. Strawberry and Stripes is one chart that I don’t have. Smile

Thinking of your nephew and family. Scuggernong is a type of fungus found deep in the rainforest. I adore all accessories, Fanci That, Prairie Village, Autumn Sampler, Ye Old Crow Sampler, Souvenirs of Summer and Strawberries Stripes.
The pockets are called Dry Erase Pockets on Amazon. You can also find them at Dollar Tree stores - we use them all the time in Early Childhood Education!!

I believe scuppergong is a kind of grape that you don't eat the skin, I had them when I visited the southern states. My favourite accessory are needleminders...I was just introduced to them and i absolutely love them. I would also like to stitch Autumn Samplers and Ye Old Crow. Thanks for sharing your story. Praying for your nephew. Those are document sleeves and we buy them from uline. Also .... I'm from the south. A scuppernong is a wild growing grape vine. Golden green in color when it's ripe. Super sweet. Deer love them and will eat them as high as they can reach. It's good to see you back. I love the Prairie schooler village charts.

Scuppernongs are a type of grapes grown in the south (I live in Georgia). They are a tough hull grape with seeds related to muscadines. Muscadines are purple, dark grapes and scuppernongs are a bronze, green grape but not as green as that Weeks. Scuppernongs can be made into jelly or wine. I have a muscadine/scuppernong arbor that produces grapes around Labor Day each year. I would love to stitch the Prairie Village, Autumn Sampler, Ye Olde Crow, Souvenir of Summer or the Strawberries and Stripes.

It's a grape! They are used for jelly and for wine. I grew up in the South eating them right off the vine. I don't live far from Weeks Dye Works so maybe someone there grew up on them too! Accessories, Fancy that, Prairie Village, Autumn Samplers, Ye old crow, or strawberries and stripes please!

Scuppernongs are grapes that are native to the southern US. I only know this because I am a high school English teacher. I teach To Kill A Mockingbird to my 9th graders. There are a couple of references to scuppernongs in the text. I had no idea what they were, so I had to look up the word before teaching the book. The Fancy that pattern is beautiful! I love a good accessory. I never head to school without my Harry Potter fobs hanging off my backpack. Congratulations on 5K!!!!

First I have to say I really LOVE your earrings! So sorry about your nephew; I will add him to my prayer list. Just found out this week that my sister has lung cancer and will be starting chemo. Life isn’t fair and it sucks. I like accessories like needle minders and/or scissor fobs with lots of charms. I could definitely stitch a prairie village or the autumn samplers. As for scupper-whatsis, judging by the color I’d guess maybe seaweed? Love your videos!

Hi Misty! I'm so sorry for this challenging season your family is going through. I know too that being far away makes it even worse. I live almost 1000 miles from my family in the deep south (Louisiana). It is a terrible feeling knowing your loved ones are having a difficult time and not being close by to help them. It's wonderful you have found a way to help them! And...being from Louisiana I know what a scuppernong is. It's a grape-type berry thing like a muscadine. My Mamo grew them and my Mom loves them. Unlike muscadines, a scuppernong (in my opinion) smells. lol I love accessories with my Village and Souvenirs of the Heart with Ye Old Crow and I love strawberries and stripes. lol OH, I love your new designs!!! So glad I pre-ordered the cross stitch magazine! I will have to check out Crazy Annie's for your other one. Hope you have a great week!

My only guess for scuppernong is as you suggested / my instinct goes right to the ocean. As for what it LOOKS like, though, all I see is an infant’s fist smooshing up a handful of peas. Lol!!
