My favorite Christmas treat is a sugar cookie. My mom made them every Christmas. Just the smell of them baking brings back so many memories. Love the ornaments! They will make great gifts. Can't wait to see next year's stitch along.
The ornaments are adorable! Love all the finishing ideas. There used to be a train ride in New Freedom, PA. Unfortunately we moved before we had a chance to take a ride. Your weaving is amazing and I’m glad you shared it with us. Weaving was a skill taught to blind kids years ago at a school in Maryland. Happy stitching!
Such sweet designs! My favorite treat was probably chocolate covered peanuts or peanut butter balls. But, homemade fudge and divinity were huge contenders too. Now, at 65 I no longer eat any sugar at all, for that matter hardly any carbohydrates, let alone candy!
Love the new ornaments! Adorable! Mainly I loved making and decorating sugar cookies. It was so much fun seeing how different my sisters and I could make them. Happy Fall and stitching! 💜
Oh the sweet Christmas are so adorable. My grandson is in love with any animal, I see ornaments for him and his brother! I remember the cookie press. I had one but wasn’t electric. My favourite cookie is soft shortbread and cherry squares. Weaving was so interesting. Have a great fall!
Oh I love the new designs can't wait to get them. I still love the weaving too. The final mousecapades is so darn cute. My favorite Christmas treat is White Trash and everyone loves it too. We make several batches and share with friends. Thank you for taking the time for the video and telling the stories behind the patterns.
Misty, thank you for the podcast…your designs at Christmas are the sweetest ones…really enjoy them…it would be nice to have them almond or vanilla scents too❤❤
Love your designs that you have presented today! I so wish I was a fast stitcher so I could do them all. The number 7 in your mice series does not need any words. It looks terrific as is. My favorite Christmas memories were spent Christmas afternoons with my Dad visiting family friends. I didn’t have to share him with two my younger siblings. They stayed home with Mom. This was a rare outing with him & I treasured it.
It’s always lovely seeing you! I love your new designs! So my mom really wasn’t a baker she did make struffoli Italian fried little balls with honey and sprinkles they are good
Hey Misty! 👋🏻. Your new designs are so beautiful and tasteful! #foxespreferlollipops 🍭. The most memorable Christmas treat at my house is homemade Chex mix. I only make it at Christmas time and we share it with all our neighbors. There WILL be cheez-it’s in my Chex mix. I also like to use all the types of Chex, but for the corn Chex I use their honey coated corn Chex. I love the salty sweet 😋
Misty, the new Christmas ornaments are adorable! And I'm so happy Mousecapades is all out!... We had the tradition of making Buckeye candy for Christmas. It was a huge production at my mom's house!

Thank you so much for your kind words, Marcia! I so appreciate them! ❤️ Wow, I haven't heard of those ice cream bells! They sound absolutely amazing and so fun!
Sugar cookies are so classic! They're my mom's favorite. I've never had the hard candy straws and I'm not sure I've seen them before, either. I'll have to look out for them. :)
Great video. Beautiful fall video too. I didn’t catch the name of the artist whose fabric was almost too pretty to use. Could you tell me? I’m going through many of me books, to help me declutter. I’ve given lots away to a great local charity but keeping probably too many too! Tonight I was looking at a thick book about Golden Books. Beautiful book that I am keeping. 🍁🍁🍁🌲🌲

Chocolate covered peanuts are SO good! I've had to cut back on a lot of those things I used to enjoy, too. :)
Crispy sugar cookies, super thin, decorated as holiday cookies. My grandma made the best, and let us grandkids decorate them.🥰🎄🤶❤🤍💚Happy stitching!!
What a nice memory you have of decorating your grandmother's cookies! ❤️
The ornaments are so cute! My favorites are the bear and the reindeer. I love making cut-out cookies every year with my collection of cookie cutters.
Thank you so much! Do you make sugar cookies or gingerbread to cut out?
@@MistyPursel We make both sugar and ginger bread. With lots of sprinkles!

Thank you, Ellen! You know, I never had buckeyes until I moved to PA in my 20's! Maybe it's because I'm from Michigan? :)
These are so cute I had to order them!😊
I'm so happy you like them! :)
Your bag is beautiful! Love the fabric!
