Swapping doors on a Enzo FERRARI

- This week I was invited by my friend CT to help him with a "light wrenching task"...little did I know he was going to actually have me lay hands on the MM Enzo Ferrari. Never in my life did I think I would have "fun" swapping doors, yes let that sink in, "Swapping Doors" on a Enzo...who does that? Well, CT does.
Special Thanks to Richard Losee for allowing me to film his very special car.

That dude is my hero! Him and the car's owner are focused on the amount of joy they get from a car, not it's later resale value. Props to them!
That is actually quite incredible to see someone use their car. Not only their car but a multi-million-dollar rare bird like the Enzo. What a transformation. Such a beautiful car in both door trims.
Nice to see you doing a video again!
Thanks bro! More bmw content on its way too
@@SaltCityEuros Awesome, can't wait!
I ran in to CT at the top of Kolob Canyons last summer. Super nice guy. He let me sit in the Enzo. I was surprised to learn the car belongs to Richard Losee. Richard lives just a few miles from me, I photographed him a long time ago.
Miss your old BMW vids mate. Nice to see new content :-)
I saw this Enzo many years ago in Sandy right by South Town Mall and I thought the license plate was Homer Simpson saying MMMMMMMM Enzo. Seeing it made my day back then. Such an awesome car, I love that it gets driven!
The two clicks as the first door closed were very satisfying to hear, there's a lot going on in this video, a lot to take in!
I agree the clicks were amazing, I was genuinely shocked by it since I had never closed such a door before and it was very satisfying.
Might've sat in this car a couple weeks ago...🤭. Dream come true
That’s amazing man. It’s pretty cool sitting in something so purpose built and unique!
@@SaltCityEuros thanks! Really was insane and beautiful to see
keep it up nico😁
Danke danke!
Danm I didn't even know that This's in my lovely utah! Cool video bro!
Utah grown baby
OMG! My ultimate dream car. I'd take this over anything in the world. I didn't know about the MM Enzo but I got to follow this car. Anyone know if the issue of road and track they're talking about is the one from 02 or something more recent? Because I remember using that magazine for my binder cover in highschool. I'm actually quite sad that I lost that magazine right now😭
I saw the last Enzo made for the pope in Monterey #400 and was signed by him haha.
Absolutely epic story
Still working on acquiring that Enzo.
Piece by piece!
why not 1m views, wtf guys! super interesting fir car nerd like me
Yes was a Enzo that was scrap out by Ferrari themselves, the story:
Abu Dhabi Royal family asked Ferrari for a Targa version of Enzo they said no until the price was right, but this came with a condition, the car should never go public or go outside Emirates!
After the car was delivered the owner and a friend tried to achieve the maximum speed on public roads, the witnesses said the speed indicator was blocked at 320 kmh = 200 mph they crush the car in the desert, rolled over and Ferrari oficial said will not rebuild it and ask them to give it back, this Enzo Ferrari had no roof parts from the doors like in your video, the piece in the middle remain for structural rigidity, car stood crush in the desert some weeks until Ferrari put pressure on Royal family!
Anyway, according to VINwiki there are more than 493 Enzo built if I'm remember correctly!
Like 599 sa aperta that should be just 80 built they are 131 now, Ferrari is known for make more for the right price, there are more LaFerrari as well 😉
These seem to be the only car doors, that are designed to have no electronics in it.
Agreed it’s rare to see fully mechanical doors anymore. Pretty awesome!
Ist das der zerstörte enzo wo man die bilder in google findet hab ich das richtig verstanden?
Ja das ist richtig! Echt ne Wahnsinns Story, muss man mal lesen. Habe vor ne kleine Mini-Doku drüber zu filmen weil das echt faszinierend ist. Danke für dein Kommentar!
@@SaltCityEuros ja wäre echt super freue mich auf weitere Videos von dir
Das wäre echt interessant
399? People still believe that number? They made over 500 of them and just lie about the number, vinwiki has 493 documented vins. That’s the same reason they all have the exact same 1/399 badge, instead of 27 out of 399 like an honest manufacturer does. Sick car though.
Well. One Enzo was totally destroyed in fire in Canada after engine fire. Literally nothign was savable. But car manufactures loves to cheat with such a rare cars so is possible they had made another one with the same vin. Mclaren is good example. No matter how badly you damage your F1 - Mclaren will always fix it. So many Mclarens F1 are made from parts made after 2000 but they still have the same value as original car from the nineties even if they are basically reproduction because of the majority of parts are new. Like the red and white mclaren crashed into the tree. There is almost no panel savable, even monocoque have to be badly damaged (beyond repair) but it still will be or already is fixed with the original car value no matter it is not original at all.
