Just another day at the office for the Forresters. He should have exited the front door, kept running and never looked back. So maybe it was a bit rude not to show for cocktails. Ridge really returned from his honeymoon as a totally changed man. 🤣 I have liked Lane Davies as Mason on Santa Barbara, but not so much as "Ridge". I am just no fan of the temporary recasts. Taylor's, Brooke's and now Ridge's recast still feel like strangers, like new characters (different looks, different way of talking) even if they give their best. Nowadays the writers would just have written the actors temporary leave into the story and would have either let Taylor and Ridge stay away a bit longer or have Taylor return on her own, because Ridge had to go on a business trip (or some other explanation).
