One day I took my bunny out shopping for her birthday and when I were checking out, the cashier was so happy when she saw the bunny and was talking pictures, and when I was walking away I heard the person in line behind us ask the cashier how they were doing, and she said, “Way better now there was a bunny!!” And that just made my day!
Bunnies make me so happy when I see them. This lady saw me staring and smiling and let me hold the bunny and I literally almost cried I was so happy!

The best part of this video (aside from Lennon's adorableness) is how you got a chance to educate that gentleman on rabbit rescue. So many people are unaware that, like cats and dogs, some rabbits are domesticated and need homes too. He had no idea that rabbit rescue was a thing. ❤❤
FireCracker3240 Before I became a rabbit parent I did not know that rabbits were at shelters like cats and dogs.
Its just like birds (I’m a bird person so I own a ton lol). So many people don’t know that many birds are domesticated and will die when released and that there is bird shelters. (Also that seed diets for parrots are just terrible and no bird should be confined to a cage).
I find it interesting how there is similarities in misconceptions with rabbits just like birds. I hope to have a free roaming rabbit one day so I’m glad to get educated by this channel and SERIOUSLY. I BEG people to RESEARCH THOROUGHLY before ever getting a pet. I get so so mad when people impulse buy :((

My rabbit Tilly is my emotional support animal. She is amazing. I've taken her to a few stores and places I need her for. She enjoys seeing new things and people and of course I always get her some treats for such occasions. Never scared and done plenty of research. But she is a legal emotional support bunny. Love watching Lennon. Shes so beautiful.
Emotional support animals have no public access rights, you should only be bringing them into PET FRIENDLY stores.
That’s awesome! But please keep in mind that ESA’s don’t have public access rights once they’re only protected under FHA, so you can only take your rabbit into pet friendly stores :)
Mercedes Brekkestran Hello! I know I’m late, but I just want to talk about something. How did you approach your parents about getting an ESA? I need one because of my severe anxiety and depression. I just don’t know how to talk to my parents about it, I’m worried on how they’ll react. Any tips?
@@kodi974 ive only talked to my parents about a service dog (not a ESA) but i tried telling them why i needed one and how it would help me and they understood but we did see my doctor before getting a dog (btw you dont need a doctors note for a service animal) but im not sure if you need a doctors note for a ESA since i don't have one but maybe ask your doctor if you'll need a note or not after you parents agree with you on getting a ESA if you wanna talk more my insta is queen.klutz 😊

I don’t think I can go see my doctor right now because of corona, that’s probably the last place my mom wants to drive to. I made a presentation about cats around a month or two ago. I didn’t mention my mental illnesses because I thought my parents would let me get a cat without me having to explain what really goes on in my mind. They told me no, and I was really upset. I made a whole new presentation, a speech, and I am in the process of writing four different essays (about cats in general, anxiety, depression, and emotional support animals). I am being very honest about how I feel, and I have a feeling they’ll let me get a cat. What do you think they’ll say? (You can be honest!)

This is the ultimate enrichment for a bunny, isn't it! She's so, so calm! I wish I'd taken my rabbit out on shopping trips, Sitka and Mouse (from the SSPCA) were so friendly and loved people and would have loved to be taken outside for some head scratches!

There's a Ross right next to Petco where I live and ever since watching this video, I always check out Ross first for bunny supplies before going to Petco! I only go to big pet stores for bunny-specific stuff like hay or bunny toys. I got a self filling water bowl for my bun and it was only $4 (she loves it)! Pee pads, hidy houses (the pet beds), bowls and feeders - it's all super affordable at Ross and I'm so glad I go there now for pet stuff.

My little Willow is very interesting. She hates getting into her carrier and driving because she can't poke her head out fully. But once I open her carrier up so she can look around she gets super curious but won't come out to wear she can't feel my body against her carrier lol She likes the strangers oddly. Actually, that’s normal for all animals. It’s instinct, because they feel like you are a predator trying to eat them. It really takes a long time for a bunny to get used to being picked up. My rabbit is also like that. 💕
