Hey I know you probably won't reply but my Netherland Dwarf bunny isn't eating his hay I got him a couple months ago and the people we got him from said he loves hay like most rabbits but he just won't eat it. he gets plenty of veggies and fruit and some Timothy hay pellets but I was wondering if you had any advise

Merry Christmas, also if you bought any of those candles let me just say that it can be harmful to light incense or candles around rabbits because it isn't good for them. This is the same thing with air fresheners. But its all up to you, I just want to inform you or those who may not know so they can make informed decisions.

I so wish I had a channel like this and such great information when I had my bunny when I was younger. I would have so wanted to treat my bun just like you treat Lennon... but when I get another bun I will know now how to make them the happiest bun possible.
Same! However I did get a rabbit last year (now as an adult) so he has a much better life then the 3 rabbits we had through my childhood. I watched all of Lennon’s video before I got my baby, I’m so happy Loreli and Lennon are helping other buns ❤️🐰
@@tlahmed It makes me so sad to think of my bunny stuck in a hutch alone outside. I so wish I had known he could have lived inside with me and used a litter box. We just didn't know back then. I used to bring him inside and let him out as much as I could... but it was not nearly enough... not by a long shot. He must have been so lonely. Just thinking of him stuck outside alone makes me so sad. He was such a wonderful bun and didn't deserve that... he should have been inside with the family all the time.

I love how adorable Lennon looked in the Santa hat! I have lops so I have no clue how to read their ear language. I recently took them to Petsmart for pictures with Santa and a few of them seemed calm.
Also Side note: The rabbit care pamphlets at that store are so sad and wrong. They encourage the biggest No no's ever and something needs to be done about that. Bunnies deserve better.
TheGoldenUzi In California they are not allowed to sell rabbits so Petco doesn’t have pamphlets on that here! So sad to hear that though, maybe write an email to Petco?
@@LennonTheBunny Oh I had no idea! There aren't many Petcos in my area of LA but there are so many Petsmarts and a few of them rarely have 1 or two bunnies. If I were to email them who should I send the email to?
Some PetSmart locations work with rabbit rescue groups to help find homes for bunnies in need. Talk to a manager at your local store if possible and explain your concerns.

It’s probably those annoying people who think they know how to take care of rabbits, but are really just overprotective to the point that it’s unhealthy for their pets!

Esa's arent allowed into public places. Inform yourself with the ADA law. Unless its a pet friendly place. Esa are not allowed in public access such as service dogs. Esa do not perform task for a disability they are only there for emotional support

You are right! He would miss my servant duties. When i first got him i came home after a bad day and tries to get some sympathy. He literally growled at me, thumped his feet and when and sat under my desk like i was annoying him.

Love your channel. Love that you educate people on how to care for their rabbits. I even adopted a baby bunny after deciding I had all the qualities a rabbit owner should have from your videos... Unfortunately my rabbit had died from having too many seizures caused by a parasite she apparently had from birth. So she's not around for this christmas. And that was too much of a trauma so I won't be adopting another rabbit.

Rabbits molt every 3 months. They shed old fur and grow new fur. It is normal, and as Lorelei said, brush her.

I absolutely adore how you take Lennon everywhere and how well behaved and relaxed she looks. I wish I could do the same with a senior bunny (he’s eight) I adopted just a month ago. He was kept in a cage with only newspapers, a litter box that was not regularly changed, a small for his size wooden corner where he couldn’t hide, a bowl of water and a bowl of pellets not even for his age. No hay. No greens. No toys. No bed. No blanket. Always in the cage. Never going out of it. No vaccines. No visits to a vet. That’s how he lived for 8 years. He’s currently in treatment after two dental procedures for issues related to the lack of hay and lack of anything to wear his teeth really, wrong diet, and lack of care. I watch your videos to see how I can encourage him to become less scared so I can take him to explore the outdoor world. I wonder if that can be even possible at his age and a lifetime prisoner in a cage. :(

Magical Gaming When I was young we did not have pet stores in the US either. No pet stores makes it hard. I am glad many of the larger stores here in the US no longer sell dogs, cat, and rabbits, but they still sell hamsters and smaller animals. When I was young there were only farm stores that sold feed for horses, rabbits and chickens.
