Met these dudes at a concert in between the meet and greet in 2013. We were having a bbq in the parking lot of the venue hoping the artists would come out (Some of my other friends had VIP and gave them all the heads up) Eventually everyone from the tour all came out (Except Krizz Tech and Stevie(Kutt wasn't on this tour)) We grilled and bullshitted with Mayday and Ces for a couple hours. I actually ended up giving NoMS from Mayday a ride to our local Guitar Center for some gear and smoked a doobie with him right before the show. One of my fondest SM memories.
For real dude. At a show in MN, Ubi and Gode came out about two hours before the show and just chilled with us in the parking lot. We talked, smoked, and chilled with a group of about 10 of us. Its always blown me away at how humble and extremely personable all of the ^S^ crew is. Normal dudes, who are just extremely gifted at making art 💜
I can't believe I just recently found out about Ces Cru. They're such a raw duo and don't get half the recognition they deserve. This is the first track I heard from them and I can't stop listening to it. Definitely one of the best rap songs I've heard. The beat feels just a little bit too slow at first, like I kept expecting the song to speed up or something. It definitely grew on me though, the energy of this track just starts and doesn't stop flowing until the song's over.
Tech does say Nigga, but its not for anything else besides just saying for the fuck of it. E.B.A.H. is a clear example, its actually the best use of the word I ever heard, fun song.
