Have you ever listened to Hip Hop Sinister by Hopsin? man all you can really hear is whining/cussing in that song. How does B.o.B not flow with the song when the other two aren't either? They're just rapping fast and everyone's going crazy about it. The lyrics are good but I'm just saying they're not flowing to the beat either, but overall the song sounds really good anyway. I'm just saying that B.o.B is too underrated and people sleep on him too much because all you non-B.o.B fans need to listen to him more cause he's not bad at all. He does a lot of things needed as an artist. He makes good hooks, lyrics, produces, plays instruments, etc. Hell, he's the one who produced this song Am I A Psycho and made the hook of it. So that means this beat is his and everything playing in the background. B.o.B is smart, I'm telling ya. Anis N-iss Hip Hop isn't really going anywhere, and it isn't being taken over by the "Young Money bullshit." There's a new group of people more interested in a hook and a beat but the people who listen deeper are still here. And Young Money is quickly fading as it has since the release of Wayne's Carter IV. And even if Hip Hop was dying, Hopsin wouldn't be the savior. 2013 was revolutionary for Hip Hop and Hop wasn't one of the players. Kendrick did Control, Kanye released Yeezus (I'll save my explanation for what that LP did for Hip Hop for another comment if you want to hear it), Eminem finally released a worthwhile LP, and experimental/alternative Hip Hop has grown into a much more prominent genre. Hopsin's Knock Madness was good, but largely uninteresting to me because a lot of what he said was similar to Eminem and Tyler, the Creator. It wasn't that his subject matter was similar, it was that his delivery wasn't original (he was somewhat original with this song). Hop has a ton of potential, but he's lacking ambition and when he is ambitious, it fails more often than it works.

Anis N-iss I'm with you there. Kanye wasn't "experimental" like a lot of people think. He took underground experimental ideas and put them together. But, he made those sounds more mainstream as well as making unorthodox album releases more mainstream. The Bound 2 video was a parody of overly sexualized music today. His tour was epic. Kanye's album wasn't the best, but he still broke down barriers and made Hip Hop interesting like Ken and Em (and others) did this year
