Hello everyone! I hope you enjoyed this Caliginous Hearthfire remix I made! it was really fun doing this one.
This is a suggestion made by one of you and I thought it’ll be interesting to do my take on it. I know that this soundtrack always play whenever there’s Arlecchino or mostly when there’s her in-game. To be completely honest, I didn’t really pay much attention to it and thought it was a Harbinger motif due to the use of clarinets etc. So I search the track and listen to it on the official album and wow.. Was I wrong ahaha.
I realised this isn’t a Harbinger motif, it does sound like it due to the first three notes being the same. But this is the motif that played during the Fontaine section in the Travail trailer! I was mind blown.
So, when I realised that it wasn’t a Harbinger motif, I immediately get to work and I wanted to change up the composition a bit and add a bit of my take on it. I didn’t use any clarinets or flute and opt for a cynical and/or haunting atmosphere which focuses more to the choirs and string rhythms.
It might not have the same feeling as it has in the original one but overall, I really like how it turns out! I hope you enjoyed my take on the ‘Caliginous Hearthfire’ track! I wish you all a pleasant day and as always, take care everyone!

The House of the Hearth motif is probably one of my all time favorites in the game. I'm glad it wasn't scrapped completely once Dimeng Yuan took over the task of creating Fontaine's main theme. I think the team at Hoyomix repurposed it very well and you captured it perfectly with this version of yours. Great job Farabi!

I just love the Travail motif and it does fit the Fatui super well. I hope we hear it again as part of Arlecchino’s demo theme!

I really wonder what her Boss Battle its gonna be like. If Capitano and Tartagalia are the Warriors, she is the Spy and Assassin. So what will it look like, fighting her?
The only thing I could potentially compare it to would be the fight between Raiden and Monsoon in Metal Gear Rising:
Very fast paced movements, a section where you barely see anything and have to be aware from attacks from any direction and a part where you have to wait till the Boss stops dodging and drop their guard.

ahhhh I love the shivery strings (like at 1:22), and the eerie choir throughout! it makes the theme feel more unsettling

I love this theme, it perfectly captures the creepy and mysterious vibe we get from the House of Hearth whenever hearing about their missions of espionage. Great job once again!
Also I want to throw in a suggestion myself. What about a theme of Basil Elton, Fontaine Admiral and Director of the Narzissenkreuz Institute and/or the Navy of Fontaine/White Armada during the Cataclysm?

I still can't decide whether to trust Arle or not ever since the AQ, and yes I also did not notice this theme played when she was around I was too immersed into the story. The vibes of this one definitely feels a bit different from the usual fatui themes, and honestly you did a nice job remixing this track.

I still have a lingering doubt whether she’s trustable or not so I was expecting a trounce domain of her but turns out there aren’t any. If we won’t be able to fight her in Fontaine then Fontaine will be the first region since Liyue that doesn’t have a Harbinger domain in it then which is interesting.

I am honestly looking forward to what happens next with her since she has piqued my interest ever since I saw her in the AQ.
I want to throw some ideas for the next soundtrack:

2.Skirk
3.Paimon's theme (as Celestia's god) - I think it's a good idea.
If you like it you can try something, I myself of course do not know about music, but I know what a huge labor it is, even just to find inspiration or the same motif for the soundtrack. I'll be waiting for new works from you)

I certainly will in the near future! I have done a 2 phase battle theme for Columbina though so you can check that out if you want!

So far, I consider Arle one of the valuable allies from the fatui, alongside Tartaligia and Scaramouché (Also known as Soren). Though, if she really is the person the latter two described, I will not hesitate to make her head roll on the floor.

Hi there! Do you mean what softwares I use or covers? If softwares I use Logic Pro as my main DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) you can use DAWs to produce music. If covers, I usually listen to them by ear, but if there are parts that are difficult to analyse I always try to look up online if there's any scoresheet or piano covers. Hope this helps!
