Hello everyone! I hope you enjoyed today’s theme as it was quite imaginative and I thought it’s a cool idea hahah
So a little bit of story, I have been playing a lot of Diablo 4 lately and it has a lot of phenomenal soundtracks mainly composed by Ted Reedy and his partners. One soundtrack that shines the most for me was ‘Confrontation’ (played during the Diablo 4 trailer) and I thought to myself.. How can I incorporate this style to Genshin? One of my good friend Aesopia Music told me that there is a fan theory or a rumour that Signora might be reborn in Natlan (I personally don’t know if that’s true or not but if it is, it would be really awesome). Considering the main antagonist of Diablo 4 is Lilith, I also find La Signora’s aesthetics the most fitting for Lilith so I thought this is perfect!
The composition itself of course includes the Fatui theme as well as La Signora’s motif I took from her official phase 1 boss theme. I changed the overall tonal of the song to sound more eerie and aiming for that horror atmosphere since after all, I was imagining La Signora was resurrected. The theme unfortunately isn’t a double phase theme as I was imagining it’s only a 1 phase battle but filled with pure horror and terror. As for the backstory, I will leave it to your wonderful imaginations and knowledges! I will be looking forward to see some of your comments!
Overall, this was a really fun track to make as I really like to play with sound textures especially screeching strings, choir clusters, screams and what not hahah. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did! As always, I hope you are having a fantastic day and take care everyone!

Like, it is basically the antithesis of Aranara's ararakalari, which is basically dreams, pretty much the stuffing of nightmares.
I could honestly imagined something like that manipulating Aether's dreams or making him face off against previous opponents. Of those I think a Signora revival would terrify him the most, since he's pretty much traumatized with her.
Yeah, its very possible because the natlan lore about resurrection... we will see ❤ ;)
I really love the screams and laughter in the background, they make me think of audiences in theatre shows and performances which is kinda fitting since La Signora is based off a commedia dell'arte stock character!

@@sanzei611 My friend suggested the idea of dottore conducting a new experiment where he would basically use signora's fireflies and the original natlan's archon remains to try resurrecting the crimson witch somehow.
I do not know how it would play out exactly but i think the potential is there and it starts

@@sanzei611 If the entire traveler's journey across Teyvat is being repeated like in Samsara, then it's possible that in some endgame archon quests we might repeat the past to alter some scenarios that occured, including Signora's death.
I didn't realize how much I loved Signora until she died😭 I miss her...

Oh yes, the Signora resurrection theory! This fits it so perfectly, I love how it really makes you feel scared with those clusters, and that last section where the rhythm is full on with the the choir staccatos is SO NICEEE SASUGA FARABI!

Holy crap interesting vocals and overall villainous sounding composition. I LOVE THIS this sounds so good. Love those screeching textures and the war chants man, will definitely be coming back to listen to this over and over.

a bit more. As a wraith, a twisted image of what she was before, there would only be room for rage and vengeance, against the player, against the archons and the god/gods, no matter what or who stands in her way.

Some leaks and theories suggest that Natlan will be about war and death themes, as well as resurrection (part of the death theme) so maybe Signora will reappear during Natlan, maybe you should try something with Natlan kind of music shown during the chapter trailer if these theories turn out to be true ^^

If the original soundtrack shows more of the tragic side of the Signora, then in yours, maestro, the frightening one is a real cruel scarlet witch on the Sabbath. It was as if I had witnessed how she, a deadly fiery tornado, killed. Thank you for another masterpiece soundtrack, maestro

A Winter Night Lazzo.
A Lazzo is the part in the play where what appears to be happening on stage is actually a screen from something hidden at play.
If it appears that all the Harbingers are gathered and begrudgingly putting their differences aside to mourn La Signora then the truth behind the screen of smoke could be that they aren't united and are more fractured against eachother than ever.
And since Natlan's chapter is aclled the Incandescent ode of Ressurection, maybe one of the Harbingers who was deeply disillusioned with La Signora's death and how she was treated like a pawn that they will try to defect and bring her back to life.

Imagine La Signora being resurrected in natlan.. and as exchange for her Resurrection, is her Pyro Delusion/Vision.. Now its given that she is Powerless, Her Desire and ambition for Vengeance/Revenge might be the key of her receiving a brand-new Cryo Vision, and knowing that her previous opponent "Raiden Ei" was Monstrously Powerful, She will instead Lock her gaze on "Traveller" as her Main-Target (Assuming that she is now more powerful than Traveller because of her newfound vision) and that's when our "Resurrected-La-Signora Boss-Battle " will begin
Well After being defeated by Traveller for the 2nd Time, She will have a momentarily-retreat and will inspect and stalk Traveller from afar.. Well let's Expect an another Boss battle with the "Resurrected" la signora.. And I'm sure she will create a whole-new Identity upon being resurrected, Let's also expect that if ever La signora ever got reborn/resurrected.. then there will be scenario's where she will deceive us with her new identity and there will be quest about Investigating the "Unknown Lady" or maybe "Investigate the lady named La vendetta/vendetta" (The revenge" in translation) leading us to a shocking discovery about a La Signora who is now La Vendetta is actually that Lady who Sings harmonious song in Natlan
This is just a theory and my mind is not working properly due to personal reasons, I'm a Big La Signora main.. And I can completely relate to her backstory and history, she is once a Gorgeous young Girl who fell in-love with some knight, she eventually got heartbroken and felt betrayed by her beloved archon who haven't been able to save her beloved-knight, a knight who is loyal to his nation, a knight who adores and cares for mondstat, the time she felt all those mix emotions.. she obviously can't think straight, mix thoughts ETC. made her feel that Mondstat is not a nation worth fighting and defending for.. she eventually finds shelter in a different nation, a different Ruler.. Which is Tsaritsa's Shneznaya, and the emotion and feelings that she felt upon meeting tsaritsa made her realize that she is worth serving for, and the rest is history TY!

Oh hey it's the one person I immediately forgot after her death LMAO anyways I have seen some Diablo IV and it's gameplay myself (still can't get over the New York advertising and SOMEONE getting drunk), and I like the idea of a horror version of Signora's theme due to resurrection and revenge, and incorporating some of Lilith's vibes in Diablo was certainly a great idea. You can feel the rage of La Signora in the composition, as if wanting a payback against the traveler for beating her before.

This is terrifying! I love the use of laughter and strings to portray a horror atmosphere. I see you are inspired my other video games as to how they could be incorporated into Genshin’s music? Me too!
When I listened to the music of Resident Evil Village, I listened to Mother Miranda’s boss theme and I looked up her final boss form. I realized that it reminded me of Columbina with her six wings that look like a dark twisted version of a Seraph.
The use of a choir in the background would be awesome for an Angel like boss.
I’d honestly love for Genshin to have more horror elements. That would be so cool. I’ve been wanting to compare Moreau’s boss fight to that of Focalors as they are both water-related
As for the resurrection theory, I’m most certain someone as mad as Dottore would find some way to pull it off.
Have you heard of the theory where Sandrone may actually may be Guizhong? The similarities between the two are uncanny. If the Fatui where able to do something like that with Guizhong’s conscious, I have no doubt they’d be able to do the same with Signora.
Seeing her in like a resurrected zombified form would be terrifying to see.
She may be angry at everyone if brought back, lashing out at even the Fatui, be coming more dangerous than before. All the more reason for us to stop her with their help.

So so true! There are so many theories going around and that really made me curious on how it'll unfold! And yes, I am very inspired by other video games soundtracks. I grew up playing a lot of games from various genres and incorporating their style to Genshin is more to a fun challenge for me.
I have done Elden Ring style and now Diablo style Genshin themes and those are really fun to make! I haven't really listened to Resident Evil's soundtracks though as I don't really play the game that much but I will for sure take a look! Can you do a fan made theme of Khaenri'ah? With this, make it sound like a horror movie soundtrack with some sadness, anger and epic vibes of it. And also make a battle theme for it too (which involves some sadness, anger and epic vibes of it too). Thank you.

I love the theory of Signora’s resurrection primarily based on Natlan’s quest name. ‘Incandescent Ode of Resurrection’, I feel like this ties with her as Pyro is affiliated with Signora. Although she had a funeral and burial at Snezhnaya, I feel like it might happen.
Imagine Genshin does what Destiny 2 Shadowkeep did, they make demonic/nightmarish versions of the bosses we've defeated so far to induce the traveler's fears into them. I can think of a cool name for some.

Ayyyy Destiny! I grind so hard on D1 and played a bit of D2. Honestly that game was so much fun and the soundtracks are masterpieces! And that is indeed an interesting thought, I'd love Genshin to have more horror/eerie elements just like what they did for the Withering battle themes or Enkanomiya!
Or even just more difficult versions of them, like what DDS 2 did

It will indeed feel very wrong but imagine the Fatui did resurrect her, it will make them seem more messed up than we already know and personally that'll make me hooked hahah. Still, it'll feel very very wrong though...

It is not actually an actual laughter but just a cluster of sounds from the choirs in the beginning which somehow made it sound similar like a laughter!
