I'd love videos covering some of the lesser known zones, which mostly rely on visual storytelling (environmental details) to tell the story to the player, as opposed to literary logs. Many of the zones have spectacular visuals which give hints about what might have caused such devastation across the land
That would be awesome, though I don't think I have the skill to create such videos, at least not yet. I am trying to break up the log readings though in later content to stop it getting too dry :) Thankyou for the feedback
I somehow captured the Dust King early in a new save and used him as free XP. I lost him when I forgot to lock the door to the shack in The Hub I was keeping him in and now I'm absolutely sure he is gonna rebuild his tower and demolish me the minute he sees me.
I love the Boarder Zone! It’s the perfect place to set up a base! It’s centrally located on the map, there aren’t too many dangerous creatures or hostile factions around and you have access to tons of nearby traders like the Hub, Squin, the Waystation, Shark and Flats Lagoon. The only real downside I found was the arid fertility, but that’s not a problem once you get hydroponics. Now my base rivals even major towns and it’s all thanks to the Boarder Zone!
I’ve been looking for a channel that makes kenshi lore videos but idk why there aren’t very many and the ones I can find aren’t always the best quality. But this is awesome! I can’t wait to see where you channel goes!
Slight correction: Ruka and Kang will spawn in either Squin or Admag (and probably Last Stand) depending on which one you visit first. Rane the Giant seems to spawn in whichever you visit second. Oron is a toss up.
I mean, you say it was likely due to provocation, but I don't think we should underestimate yhe capacity of the Shek (especially under previous leaders) of raiding cities for the sake of raiding them.
When I go to squin there are some houses that are private. Could this private houses have hidden notes about the hub? I haven't tried the path of thievery. There might be missing notes from the residential long houses.
Gnue... I dont think Squinn was build as a fortress, to me its has more of a Trader Town that was taken over by the Shek, of cause there is little to no Lore on it, so were all left guessing. Watched and 👍 Liked
@@Rasengangstarr yes there are a number of ruined city's around the Shek area i would think that was owned by them, remembering they were close to being wiped out because of the dead before giving up style of battle.
@@Rasengangstarr Definitely the case as we have small snippets for game files that modders have added back in with full functionality that the devs didn't get to fully implement. If you destabilize either the Shek or Okran kingdom, the other faction slowly starts gaining more ground in the destabilized area and whoever is gaining ground will rebuild The Hub as a staging ground for further forays. I just wish there was a mod that caused a mass civil war if you take out both the leaders of the Okranites and Shek like some bandit and cannibal mods do

I'm working on a series of an explorer who does just this
@@frogntoad3134 I look forward to it!

The Music is driving me friggen nuts
i've turned it down in later videos, i've lost the files for this one though so can't go back and fix it :(

Great video! Instantly subbed! can't wait for that okrans pride lore video, looking forward to it
Underrated series and lore videos, love your narration.

Your narration is really good, like and subscribed
I would really love and hope for more Kenshi content my man, your videos are amazing
These videos are really interesting.
I always love to rebuild and settle in the Hub

For me, Ruka is always in Squin, but Kang some times spawns in Admag even if I go to, Squin first.
Glad to see some one else doing kenshi videos. If you ever need some extra voice work or help with research let me know.
Same to you! if you need a british accent in your video lemme know :D
Good Voice!! I Subbed!!

These videos are fantastic!
I noticed that when I handed high inquisitor seta to the floatsam ninjas, patrols of Kral's chosen became quite common in the hub.
Okran's Pride video when? can't wait to see 👀
Now I have to figure out how to talk about the Holy Nation seriously without getting cancelled D:
Just found your videos, keep up the good luck
very good video :D

Does the dust factions split up once you put the dust King in jail or have I played to many mods?
I think that's the Reactive World mod, something like that
Great video, but the background music and effects are cranked so high that it’s difficult to hear the voice acting at times.
Hey make more videos of kenshi pls also what this guy said, turn the music down a bit my guy

Yeah that might make more sense, though the Shek empire did once take up more land than it does now - maybe it stretched out in other directions?

i think the shek built or at least named squin long ago. and yeah it serves a dual function as a military installment and trading post
