Re your sturgis tee. I’ve sold a good handful of things that had no likes, or to folks that didn’t ever like the item. For me, likers rarely end up buying. It’s fascinating!

That gorgeous sweater can easily be fixed by putting corduroy or velvet elbow patches. Someone can even crochet that area. It's worth fixing ! ( :
Yeah I think likes don’t always matter. Their are items in my closet that have tons of likes and never seem to sell.

You have good Buyers! I had a 2 item bundle total price $40 one lady offered 28 and I countered to 30 and she declined like really for $2 !! It was a pandora charm nib and a NWT torrid sweatshirt

Jen R I got one guy who offered to buy an men’s lululemon item for 95% off asking price and raised his counter offer by $1. I went into his closet and found men’s llll for the same as I was originally asking. Grrr. I’ll admit that I offered super, super low on one of his items after multiple tiny incremental biddings, . He actually wanted to trade. Nope 👎

When are you leaving PM. Business reports says its all sellers few buyers and that the sharing, following etc. is s turn off WHICH IT IS!! Friends of mine won't do it. " time waster"

I sell some on poshmark but mostly on eBay, where it seems to take me forever to list clothing, with all the items specifics etc. Can you maybe film a sped-up video showing your listing process, with listing several items? Ironically, the Poshmark employees (who do a vlog of what’s selling this month) say that their tip of the month is “having more things listed = more sales”. Aren’t they clever!

You're not doing enough research on your items...you need to first see if the item you're thinking of picking up has a demand of has sold in the last 90 days. And if so how many have sold. If only one or two have sold then you know there's not a high demand therefore you should probably skip. Find items that are trending, or timeless staples. Just giving some helpful advice 🙋 have a good night!
@@carollevine8413 So it's not just me that PM is just a scam? All these u tubers get $1000's in sales and ours " suck" seem to be a RECURRING THEME. Time to switch out. 1 sale in 3 months.

I'm def with you on buying vintage lucky brand! We were lucky enough to find some vintage sailor girl sweat pants and they sold for $90 dollars within an hour!
Also! You can turn your pinterest into a business pinterest! it will tell you how many impressions, clicks, etc. you get on your pins! girl me and you could be bffs haha
Loving getting into Poshmark mostly buying, I have a closet with about 50 items, but haven't sold anything yet. One of my biggest challenges so far has been sharing my closet. It doesn't take me too long, but I can't imagine someone with over 1000 items sharing often. It must take half the day. I am currently part time reselling. I am a preschool teacher full time for the time being. Thanks for any feedback.
How do you do your boutique? Where do you buy your inventory?
That is a great bundle! It is logical that the more you have listed, the more you will sell but like you said, if you have a 1,000 items no one wants, you won't sell anything. Do you use a mannequin when you list? I never have but was thinking about ways to make my listings look more appealing.

Sophies Mom me too !! I started with eBay and try to do both eBay and Posh. But regardless - I would not even reveal how many items are in my “death pile”.
Honestly I don’t have any kind of set schedule. I wish I did and could figure out a routine, but I haven’t yet.
Thats cool. I was worried i wouldnt be successful if i didnt set a strict schedule. You are very successful without a schedule, so that makes me more optimistic! I cant thank you enough for your videos. I never thought I could do anything like this after I had the stroke, but you have made it much easier!

The thing is I like items and plan to buy usually. Only my truck has has three major problems. Yes I get offers but have bought asking price from people. So I am not actually one who just likes. Life happens. In the mean time if stuff I want sells then so be it. You are right though not all likes are bought from people who like it.

how many items would you say you sell daily?? on average
I notice that most of my sales have zero or very few likes or watchers on ebay.The items with tons of likes or watchers sit longer.I sent out offers last night on an item to 63 likers and nothing except a few declines.
1 sale in 3 months.😢

Yes it is so interesting how that works!
So, have you examined your price? All you can do...which is quite a bit, is make sure you have great pictures that don't leave a doubt in the buyers head as to the quality. If you can use all 8 photos and make sure they are good. Most sales are because of a search done by the buyer. Search terms are very important. Cute shirt doesn't cut it, especially if the two pictures are on the floor and the item is all wrinkled, and I see that a lot. Good luck!

Do you notice you make more money selling boutique items or thrifted items ?
in order to become a poshmark ambassador do you have to have to have a certain amount of listings/ shares.. etc in other words how do you become one... also what if you move, family emergency, vacation..is there some way to let your followers now what is happening???? sorry for all the questions
If you want to be a posh embassador you must have certain amount of listing, sharing and selling items you will find that in "my posh stats" . And if you have an emergency or you are in a vacation poshmark have a feature called vacation hold in my seller tools . Hope i helped.

The problem is EVERYONE knows you HAVE to mark up because of PM 20% then offers to likers 10% AND another discount with shipping. You almost have to DOUBLE your price to make your money back!

I really dont get it...why used item could be sold over $20 buy brand new with tag cant be sold even be listed under $20??? I saw that alot on poshmark lol and ppl really make low offer or just bundle and never make purchase... That why I only selling good brand and high quality items so they keep selling good and make average income per month.
Haul items at thrift store may not work,my haul stuff still stay for a year and never get sold :( Who has same thinking like me???

Hi! Yes I just counter back with the full price. Sometimes they buy and sometimes they don’t. But I don’t outright decline because some people don’t read the description and might not realize it’s price firm.

What is a boutique item?
What are "boutique" items? Thank you!
Boutique items are purchased through a distributor...and have never been offered to the public. A lot of poshers put nwt items in a "boutique" but that is not the correct usage of the app.

Yes only Poshmark. I used to sell on eBay. I have a video about why I stopped. I like one platform because I spend a lot of time on content creation and other things. I have never tried List Perfectly nor do I know anything about it.

Hi! I let the buyer make a bundle and buy or offer. I don’t really make bundles for people nor send offers on bundles. I have never had much success with it when I did it earlier on so I found it not to be an efficient use of my time. Hope that helps!

When you have sold items do they stay on your closet until you remove them?
You are unable to delete sold listings on Poshmark (they do this for transparency). So all sold listings stay in the closet. But you can filter by available, sold, or all.
I had a spiderman crockpot listed for $10 never used. I think I already listed low but someone offered $8. Like really lol. I ended up losing $8 cause of it being over weight. Ugh.
Aw that is tough. I try to weigh heavy items first and build that into the pricing if I will have to buy a heavier label 💕

I would say average 2 months. Some sit a long time and some sell really fast!

southernlovely pretty sure she was a seller before she was a youtuber. There’s no correlation.
She has been selling on Poshmark for awhile and started making videos after the fact. I have been on Poshmark about a month and I have had several sales so far, I haven't had any issues. It's not a scam.
