Just brought this welder for it AC aluminium capability... On AC pulse, I've set peak amps to 150A and as far as I can tell base amps are fixed at 5A ? . Freq 60Hz . Pulse freq 40 cycles per sec or 40Hz.. pulse % (pulse width)50% on time and 50% off time . What else .. 2.4 mm lanthernated tungsten, and I use a peddle... This is my so far base setup and it welds 2 - 3mm 6061 pretty good . I'll play around fine tune things from here, but this will get you in the ball park... also from my initial fucking around , Ac balance is set automatically and the balance control seems to only allow you to adjust it a few point up or down, but it seems pretty close set to zero... Is this what you have found??
You useing the pedal ? If so reconect it , hold handle away as if you starting the hand piece ? Press pedal down for 5 sec you should hear some beeps that should turn it off , the manual doesnt say that hope that helps ?

Unimig "Don't modify the 15amp plug or you'll void our warranty."
Also Unimig- Modifies a 10amp power point to allow a 15amp plug.
I notice that to that a 15amp plug going into a 10amp socket
The only thing you didn’t touch on was grind angles or balling??
