Great review. Very insightful
Great review 👍🏻
Thanks! Hope you are doing well.
Ran a 1:21 HM in the Pro 1s. I did have to go a full size up as you mentioned the sizing....I'm hoping hoping to run Manchester Marathon in the pro 2s
Andrea, you are amazing at reviewing shoes and I love you! I am trying one pair at a time of all the shoes that you review! You have such a great taste and style, and you always explain the pros and cons of each shoe very clearly. Thank you for sharing your passion and expertise with us! 😊
We’re big fans too 😊
Great review! Good luck in Osaka!
Thanks!!
I am looking forward to buy the flash 2, which looks like a good combination of pro 1 and 2, not aggressive as pro 2 but with the wide base design.
Also think new Flash will be better for me. In combination with the Mizuno Wave Rebellion Pro V1 I have.
Got the flash. Disappointed. Sending it back..
@@i.p2088 How bad is it?
@@WayneHe15 Heavy.. Baggy upper.. Long... Feels unstable in the midfoot... Disappointed...
You mentioned you like Alphafly 3 for faster intervals. Would you personaly choose the Alphafly 3 for a marathon or the Rebellion pro 2?
I would actually not run a marathon in any version of the Alphafly. AF1 is my favorite and I’ve set PRs in the HM, 10k, 8k, and 5k in it. I like AF3, but the 8mm drop and encapsulated Air Zoom Units make it feel a little less responsive to me. Both AF1 and AF3 feel too aggressive and/or like I don’t load them properly for a marathon. I wrote more about this in the Alphafly 3 review on our website (UA-cam doesn’t like links in comments otherwise I’d drop the link here.
I want to know how Andrea finished at Osaka.
Unfortunately Andrea got COVID days before the marathon and had to withdraw :/
Which version is best for heel strikers?
V1
I think both could work for heel strikers (read Matt’s review of v1 and v2 for his thoughts) but v1 might be better for longer efforts/race distances due to the less aggressive heel bevel.
Thank you. @@ammyers56
For me V1 is better (which is why I bough extra pairs as my size is almost gone).
V2 feels slower because I land a bit too far towards the heel which creates bit of a break before you get the rocker engaged.
Either one or both of shoes seems like a risky purchase especially if you're not exactly sure about your foot strike.
I definitely would recommend testing them on the treadmill at a running store before purchase.
