I love that truck. Just 1 problem on the thing where the bin gets lifted. The driver only waits 2 seconds for thing to go up and he could do it straight away because all of the trash is going on that square and why is he mixing Reycylcling and Gerneal waste
Heil body simply doesn't work as it should, it creates work for the operator. This video demonstrates that perfectly form the very 1st tip. The way the arms are set by heil to slow when they reach the stops allowing a bag of crap to fall into the none functioning spill canopy because the bin isn't quite far enough over the hopper. It's about usability, I prefer what works.
To an extent yes, the ones seen in this video can be found in the US as can the larger version, however I have never seen the smaller, wheeled ones the US has in the UK, we tend to opt for our style of rear loader for smaller applications
Should only ever really be level whilst at cab height that should ensure a clean tip to much of a lean and you run the risk of the tipping bar on the bottom front of container snagging the spill canopy, again if the spill canopy worked as should it would be less of an issue.
You would be very unlucky for the tipping bars to hit the canopy on this volvo, the older Scania trucks very easy to do or put the tipping bars though the windscreen awful trucks
This is a inexperienced FEL driver in my opinion what he does with the 2nd bin is definitely a no no even good FEL drivers will spill some waste but this driver is not even levelling the bin as it get over the can to prevent as little as possible coming out of the bin. In my opinion this driver should never have been passed out to drive this mode
So awesome that we have these in england now.

Recycling and general waste is being mixed due to the recycling being so badly contaminated that they couldn't take it as recycling

I will agree that it is too slow to tip but I'd also say it needs to tilt the bin back further to begin with because of the design of the bin itself
Used to do this job for biffa in northwest, wouldnt of let bin slide down forks on lift, but great 👍👍 job
nice
does uk has us dumpsters ?

Nice video mate I just subscribed
What a load of trash Thank you :)
Your welcome pal
Those heil bodies are horrendous .
Excuse me they're really good
No they really aren't.
One of the black sacks didn't go into the truck. It got busted and all its contents fell onto the ground. That's rather nasty.
Dustbin lorry's are like balloons
Any further explanation? I'm interested

david meech they soon pick up bad habits, just because he's sliding the bins down the forks now doesn't mean he was before he was signed off.
david meech Whats the problem??
Seemed ok to me...
