Not a nice job smells lol but if your lucky you find valuebles on the line lol iv found endless notes change and silver and gold crazy what people through away or through by accident
Very good thanks, but it is really a sorting facility, separating the wastes into various recyclable grades. I am very keen on recycling, if people could see how much effort is entailed in just sorting their waste, then maybe we could be better at initial segregation. I did notice early on, how difficult textile waste can be, it just wraps around everything, and requires frequent stoppages to manually clean it off the equipment.
Lol,,, 70% of recycling plastic is shipped out to other countries,, a lot plastic is given to Turkey,, they pile it in the streets lmao,, or set fire to it,, recycling is a goog idea but unfortunately it's a scam 😂😂😂 and the other 30% we don't send,, well,, do a little investigation and you will see,, best way to recycle is to not buy plastic,, simple
Amazing! I encourage everyone of us to invest in recycling and support genuine recycling initiative. I have been investing in recycling for two years now. Although the profit are not what I expected but is it worth it, contributing to sustainability is worth it, you should be part of it too. I will be willing to guide you.
Thank you, really interesting. Do you know what kind of products they do with this recycled plastic? I don't understand why is so difficult to recycle plastic even once it is sorted. I saw some doc where they keep storing all the plastic in cubes like yours. Do you think isn't really profitable?
It isn’t profitable and recycled plastic has to be mixed with new plastic about one part recycled to four parts new. The only sensible thing to do is to cut down plastic use dramatically.
Unfortunately 70% of UK recycled plastic end up on foreign streets like Turkey,, and some set fire to it,, its 1 big scam,, and the other 30% of UK recycled plastic,,,, well what can I say 😂😂😂😂 recycling is just a word that makes you feel better about yourself when doing your shopping or having McDonald's,, 😂😂😂😂😂

Is it that difficult to separate items for collection at home ? Why isn't the recycling cost part of the purchase price to encourage manufacturers to seek other options : return of reusable packaging to supermarkets, more loose items in supermarkets etc.
The majority of the machines are made by Stadler, a German company renown in the industry for quality machinery. The factory machinery cost £5.7 million to replace in 2006. There are also 4 Titech machines which sort the plastics.
What would a place that does recycling up to making each resource into useable things be called as the aluminium is still in can form not in sheets or ingots etc?
Some say the cost of all the machines and staff wage makes this non profit howerver, They make about 8% to 10% profit but there also subsidized by the Govenment as an incentive to stop waste going to landfill. One warehouse I know sends two containers over sees consisting of plastic and card waste making a profit of about 25.000 a year.
They make profit mostly in tin cans aluminium and card board and steel cans 500 pound 1 ton bail of alliuminium where I worked we would produce about 50 bails to 100 .
A lot of plastic is bought by likes of india as it’s cheaper to import and burn than to use oil only at the expense of the factory workers and the environment. Look it up there are videos here too
Yes we recycle all of this. All recycling waste goes in to a clear sack, glass in a blue box, and food and garden waste into a green bin. All general waste put into a black sack is then 'baked' in our recovery plant and turned into energy.
Hello, while some nappies can be recycled it's not a widely available service and is still being developed. In Milton Keynes we currently do not recycle nappies which is a why we encourage our residents to switch to real nappies.
Why are they in pink sacks? that is just more waste. We really need to sort our selves out in this country we produce so much plastic waste we should have to deal with it here!
No system needing this much human involvement will ever succeed. In America, only convicts on work release will do that sort of work. Except British immigrants, they love it
Human involvement is how you keep people employed and feeding their families. Also; although the work is not necessarily glamorous, these people can know that they are making a real positive difference in the world, unlike greedy CEOs destroying the planet for personal gain. These recycling workers should sleep well at night. :)
Those workers may appear to do a thankless task, but believe me, they are invaluable to the process. Doing a great job.
This should be shown in schools. These workers do a real useful job.
I wanted to undetstand about seperation of recycling and this was the best video to help me.
Incredible machine. And the workers that work inside are valuable too.
What a kind comment
Finally a video about how it works 🎉
How cool! More people need to recycle!
How cool is that😍LOVE RECYCLING !!!

& thanks to the workers !

My god, this must be super expensive. Do they make a profit?? How much cost to create a factory like this???
What happens to food containers that aren't washed?
Still crushed
