- Her FIRST DWI Arrest: • Mom Arrested for DWI (...
Around 5:59 PM on September 12, 2022, Officer Stephen Arnold with the Ewing Township Police Department responded to a call an erratic driver driving a red 2012 Mazda in the vicinity of Parkway Avenue and Lower Ferry Road. Officer Arnold began patrolling the area and observed a vehicle matching the witness description slowly driving eastbound near Pennington Road (Route 31). He activated his emergency lights to initiate a traffic stop, but the driver did not immediately pull over. After a short pursuit, the vehicle finally stopped on Steinway Avenue near Pennington Road. He advised dispatch of his location and made contact with the driver, who was identified as 35-year-old Jasmina Alic.
Officer Arnold noticed that Jasmina seemed incoherent and she exhibited several indicators of impairment. When he finally retrieved her license, registration, and insurance, he asked her to stay in the vehicle as he returned to his patrol car. A few minutes later, he asked Jasmina to exit the vehicle while Lieutenant William Lardieri arrived on scene to assist. Based upon their suspicion of impairment, Jasmina was offered an opportunity to participate in field sobriety exercises.
Lieutenant Lardieri started with the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus (HGN) test. During the HGN test, he observed a lack of smooth pursuit, but he was unable to complete the rest of the test because she was uncooperative. The second exercise was the Walk and Turn test, and it was administered by Officer Arnold. During the Walk and Turn test, Jasmina initially did the test incorrectly by walking backwards. When Officer Arnold afforded her another opportunity to complete the test, she did not walk heel-to-toe as instructed and took 10 steps instead of 9. The third exercise was the One Leg Stand test, and Jasmina was unable to raise her foot in the proper fashion or maintain her balance. The final exercise was the Lack of Convergence (LOC) test, and it was administered by Lieutenant Lardier. During the LOC test, Lieutenant Lardieri noticed that her eyes were unable to converge.
Based on her slurred speech, the odor of alcohol on her person, and her inability to adequately complete the field sobriety exercises, Officer Arnold placed Jasmina under arrest for driving under the influence. Lieutenant Lardieri searched her vehicle and found an open bottle of vodka on the glove box. The vehicle was impounded for a mandatory 12-hour hold under John’s Law. Officer Arnold subsequently transported Jasmina to the Ewing Township Police Department for processing.
At police HQ, Officer Arnold read Jasmina the her Miranda rights as well as the Standard Statement for Motor Vehicle Operators, and she initially agreed to submit breath samples. Following a 20-minute observation period, Officer Robert Birchenough began to administer the breath test. Jasmina failed to provide adequate breath samples despite 6 separate attempts, so she was ultimately charged with a refusal. After Jasmina was processed, she was released to a family member after they signed the Potential Liability Warning form on her behalf. Officer Arnold issued her the following summonses: Operating under the influence, refusal to submit to chemical test, reckless driving, careless driving, and open container of alcohol

This isn't fair, you're not allowed to arrest someone if they literally
😂
That is so like literally 😂
That is so like literally 😂
Literally like literally 😂😂
And she literally several times so yeah
I can't believe the officer didn't buy her story that she was just like literally.
Lol right? It’s so obvious how literally she is.
😂
I know right?! Arent you just driving around being literally all the time. Totally normal 🥴
Totally ridiculous, cause it couldn’t have been more obvious she was simply literally-ing. He clearly needs additional training on what innocent acts of literally look like. 😂
0:22 Did I hear her say “like, I’m cautionable”?? 😂
I have watched enough of these videos to know that the number of times a suspect says "literally" is directly proportional to how guilty they are!!!
She doesn't even say 'literally' - it's 'liderly' like just .....
I NEVER thought of that but i LITERALLY think you may be on to something 😊
Am I the only one who started counting how many times she said literally, but literally lost track?
“like” is also a literal giveaway
She didn't even realize the cop was "literally" making fun of her by repeating the word.
Despite what was going on she still had an appetite. Literally.
🤣🤣
Should arrest the judge when she kills somebody
She's hammered. Literally.
😂😂😂
Literally
Not literally though really right? That would mean she had been flattened out with a hammer, like a nail. That would be literally hammered. Bring back the literal meaning of literally for the love of all that is holy!!!!
@@angeldip5797 omg, really?
😂😂😂😂
I literally despise the incorrect use of the word ‘literally'.
Omg me too, literally, can't staaaand the overuse or misuse of that word. Sooooo annoying
The worst is when they add a A on the end of no.
Hey, that makes her sound wiser.@@vaec58
and how many abuse absolutely as well😂
absolutely they do, as well as saying literally@@turkeydoctor5546
Officer did his job and the courts continue to give these drunks a slap on the wrist, zero consequences SMH
Absolutely…the laws need to be changed…now. I’m also sick & tired of the cops bringing them in and then they barely press any charges at all then they’re right back on the streets. I get the jails are overcrowded & the courts have a lot of trouble having enough attorneys to try these cases….if laws & courts had been a lot more harsh in the beginning then maybe there wouldn’t be so many getting so many dui tickets which there’s very little consequences for. It’s past time to change. It’s like my daddy used to tell me growing up “don’t make me make a believer out if you”……he meant to start paying attention & listen. This one was bit combative which is good but still was drunk. And I’m referring to drunk drivers. Why should they do any better? Price is small for them. Maybe they do t change the laws & give out harsher punishments because if they do that & people back off some from buying so much alcohol then it’ll hurt the economy? Is money it?
It's one thing to get too drunk in public, it's another do drink and drive , and completely messed up doing this when you have kids be they with you or not
Sadly. They keep going till someone gets killed. Sick. No reason for it at all. Call a cab, friend, dont be a ass and take a chance on a ticket or worse, killing someone !! PLEASE DON'T DO IT !!
She hasn't even had her first court date yet. Calm down Karen!
The problem is that if she just got her first DWI about two weeks ago, she most likely hasn’t gone to court, this DWI cases take time, it’s not something that’s done within a few days, it could sometimes takes weeks even months before the case is done and over with, specially if someone is fighting it and in the meantime that person still have their Driver’s license and go on with their lives with no consequences!! There is a process that has to be followed you can’t just take someone’s DL just because they got arrested, they are not guilty yet!
This woman should be arrested for the misuse and overuse of the word "literally."
Sorry for her drinking problem.
She is a Mom,. I pray for her to recover. Cop is very good at his job. Very respectful. Im glad for all nobody got hurt.
This whole catch & release for DUI’s needs to stop! First time… maybe. But second or more should be mandatory jail time!!
no one would be there to keep the country running . you want a prison nation move to south america
I agree the laws should be more strict for drunk drivers, they need to be learning a lesson not to be let go,this really makes me mad!!!!
The jail is full of MAGA terrorist
I TOTALLY AGREE! They are putting people's lives in danger.
Some states there is mandatory jail time. She hasn't been convicted of the first offense yet as it's only been a month.
When home girl went backwards on the walking test, I lost it! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Me too 😂
Thanks for the warning that saved my screen! 😅😅😅
Doesn't this officer know you need to drive slowly when you're using your knees to steer as you're dining on a salad?
😂☠️
Literally!
Especially when you have to take your foot off the accelerator to use your toes to pour on more salad dressing!
🤣🤣🤣
🤣
She doesn’t even care how traumatic or embarrassing this is for her kids! Especially twice in a month!
She literally knows how to do these tests because she literally just did them 2 weeks ago.
She's zonked out of her mind on Clozopine and something, she has no idea what is going on
No, she knows how to fail them, like last time 😢
I can literally imagine how many times she’s drove drunk with her kids in the car
There's a video of her with the kids less than a month before this arrest.
@@shethingsdoh there's a video of the 1st arrest? Do you know how to find it?

Take a drink everytime she says literally and you will literally need someone to drive you to the hospital! So glad they got her off the streets so scary 😮
This!!! 😂😂😂
I am glad I made the right call, a family member called me at 11 pm to take them to work; I said No, I was going to bed and I had just taken my clonazepam, and will not drive !!
Remember that driving is a Privilege, Not a right !!
I am on most of my medications at night and warned everyone that I will not drive after I take them. My car is on it’s last legs and I can’t afford another one. I don’t like to drive, anyhow because of my schizoaffective disorder. I don’t drink and drive. If I don’t feel good, am very anxious or take a Clonazepam, I am not driving that day. I have canceled plans more times than not, because of this. Because, I am also sure people would resent taking me and there’s not a lot of transportation. I can’t afford to take a cab or Uber everywhere or I would.
I swear she absolutely does not know what is going on! First she gives him her medical papers, then she says she’s looking for her kids, and while waiting for the officer to return, she decides to start eating her salad, and thought he was done talking so she proceeds to put her seatbelt back on so can leave! God I wish these drunk’s could see themselves. This is her second DUI in less than a month, I hope they sock it to her, maybe that’ll wipe that smirk off her face!
Girl, you aren't fooling anyone with that salad!
She sure tried it LOL
😂😂😂😂😂 OH my...i was waiting somebody call her of girl! This so too much.
she has diabetes

This officer was fantastic. He remained calm throughout, and never lost patience with her.
Literally the bare minimum of his job. People say this all the time and im like “sooo you expect cops to be unhinged and assholes and praise them when they arent”
And,was not shocked that she kept eating after he pulled her. WHAT.

I love how she gets her salad ready to eat while in the car as if this officer asked her out for a lunch date. She knows there are no serious consequences for her behavior
You literally made me laugh out loud with that one!
Not to mention the car is in her father's name. Take the damn car away from her. 🤦🏻♀️
Dinner theater! She’s the star of her own show.
I think she meant to use “eating her salad” as a way to explain the reckless driving/speeding etc
Yeah the first few seconds with the salad is crazzyy
When this drunken dingbat started walking backwards I lost it! Literally 😂😂😂😂😂
I literally had to go back and rewatch it because you literally wrote this and I was literally confused and had to literally....oh dang! The klonopin kicked in literally 😂
At 10 I took a call at 3am and my parents told me to go back to bed. I heard wailing from my mother. My uncle was killed in a drunken driving accident leaving a 1.5 year old baby and a fairly new wife. The funeral was brutal with my families grief. It changed me as a human and rarely got behind the wheel. Unless or until judges and police are directly affected by these selfish acts. People are going to continue to break the laws over and over.

The amount of times she said "I just literally..." made me crazy and it's obvious she's drunk. WOW she's incredibly drunk and as someone who grew up with an alcoholic mother I feel for her children. They deserve better. SMH
By the comments I thought she said that once but she said that like 4 times so far I’m about 6 minutes in lol
Take a shot every time she says "literally" and you'll be literally dead!
She absolutely should not be driving on Klonopin, and -- what's worse -- mixing it with alcohol while driving is a death wish for anyone who encounters her. Good grief -- put a stop to this.
support big pharma . go scream at people to get their vax shots like you did 2 years ago
Klonopin is So much worse than alcohol my goodness, and it's legal!
Clonazepam (Klonopin) is an ethical and very legal pharmaceutical prescribed for anxiety, seizure disorder and bi-polar disorder among other uses. If one is on it for long term, it is highly manageable to drive while taking it. As a benzodiazepine (a nervous system depressant) however, it should never be mixed with alcohol, which is another central nervous system depressant.
@@annebruecks7381I think you must be thinking of a different medication. I function perfectly fine on it. I actually know a few other people who take it and you would never know.

It’s sick to me these people get multiple DUI’s and are still able to have a license. I bet if the Judges and law makers lost a loved one to one of these people it would be a different out come to these people
it is all about money, fines court costs
I think a lot of judges and lawmakers have DUIs themselves. In NJ, DUI isn't even a misdemeanor, it's just a traffic violation. America is generally pretty soft on DUI. Even people in these comments demanding this woman be locked up for life will readily have a few drinks and hop in their car and drive home tomorrow. It's just so ridiculously socially acceptable. As for people with multiple DUIs, many of them have lost their license but just continue to drive anyway. Without an interlock device on every single car's ignition, we'll never stop them because you can't make them care.
@@ambrr_lily it is difficult because without a car it's literally close to impossible to get to work in many places in this country, so judges are reticent to actually crack down on people driving illegally since they might not want people to lose their jobs and become homeless
I don’t think you understand what having a DUI costs in FL. A 2nd DUI gets very expensive, comes with jail time, drug counseling and an interlock device in your car you have to pay $ $140-$160 a month for 2 years. It’s not an easy thing to come back from at all.
It's her 2nd offense in a month, and she refused breathalyzer, she'll lose her license for 2 yrs plus fines.
When the cop asked her if she had any medical issues before he had her do the straight line test she really said I have diabetes and money problems 😂😂😂
I think she said "issues with my knee" 😂
“My knee” definitely came out sounding like “money” … I was thrown at first, too!! 😂
I like that you blurred out the salad as if it was being obscene.
The smirks on her face was really pissing me off as if she thinks this is a joke to her and the courts need stiffer penalties because it’s not fair to everyone else having to be on the road and fearful of being wiped out by drunks like her. She bombed the tests because she couldn’t follow directions to save her life.
Yea I wanted to slap those smirks right off her face!

She should also be determined to be incompetent as a parent and only have supervised visitation until she gets the help she desperately needs and proves she can be a safe, responsible adult. There is no excuse for one DWI, but two within weeks shows she is not a safe parent or driver.

😂😂😂😂
Whoever let her use that vehicle should be held responsible as well. I hope the stupid dad loses the car.
If anyone thinks she's getting away with this, she isn't. Second offense DUI in any state is extremely harsh compared to a first offense. Unless she gets a really nice expensive experienced lawyer to plead her down to a first offense, she's getting some really really bad consequences. Not to mention she's going to need a breathalyzer installed in her car which is a hassle and very expensive. Her license is going to be suspended for years. A lawyer can't do anything about the license part because that's a separate entity from the court system and the judge has no control over that part. The RMV/DMV of the state has full control over your driving privileges.
It's scary how she is unable to follow simple instructions. Literally 😮
Wow ! She really took that first DWI seriously .

I “literally” just saw this woman in another video. That time she actually had her kids with her and was wasted. It infuriates me these cops try and get these drunks off the streets, and then they get off with a slap on the wrist! That’s why they reoffend smh
It's not a slap on the wrist. Her first case is a felony because of the child endangerment. That's VERY severe. Now she has a second one to contend with not to mention her license was just suspended 6 months to 1 year IMMEDIATELY, depending on the state because of her ''refusal'' on the chemical test. You need to know how the court system works....you are first summoned for an arraignment in which case the judge looks over the case, you plead your decision and then the court date is set. When it is settled in COURT on the COURT DATE, that's when the consequences are issued by the judge. Your driving privileges are actually controlled by the RMV/DMV of the state which means the judge has no control over your license. Her driving privileges are going to be suspended for a long time not to mention she will very most likely need to have the breathalyzer device installed in her vehicle which is a huge hassle and lots of $$. She's facing jail time as well because of her felony DUI. She's NOT getting a slap on the wrist.

I have known of situations where people have had a SECOND DUI and they killed people a SECOND time (while driving on a suspended license) and have not done jail time. In the one situation the person was in the states illegally and they were not deported.
@@frigid4real The law does not say jail time is mandatory, only that it's possible, so it sounds like your issue is with the DA.
Were the kids at home with her “brother” or alone? She literally is literally under the influence literally of something!
Legend has it that if you say 'literally' enough times, the cops have to let you go.
She keeps smiling like she is really nailing it
This should be a felony. Huge fine and prison time. Lose license for 10 years.
Unless and until we take these transgressions seriously, innocent people will continue to be murdered on our streets.
100% agree, she got one a month ago and she doesn't understand what he's saying!!!
Especially by people on their phones while driving, like you.
It doesn't matter the punishment, if you are a criminal you won't abide. You don't know what she may be violating. My DWI 17 years ago is still effecting me. You don't have all three context.
@@Bshiddyhow do you know they are driving? But I do agree, if you found to be distracted by your phone and you caused an accident you should be charged with a felony.
@@nonenone9892that’s not necessarily true. If you make it a mandatory 5 years in prison for DUI/OWI I suspect you will see it begin to decline and the charge should be something like 5 years, hell 10 years if you cause an accident!
With Uber and Lyft being an app button push away there just is no excuse anymore for it!
Omg what is up with this lady!!! I showed my husband her first video a few days ago bc I couldn’t believe how she was acting and had her kids in the car… and I didn’t realize this was her again until the very end. It is terrifying to think that she is caring for children in this state. She’s just literally… literally!!! 🥴
Omg theres a 1st video? Where/what do u look up??
If I took a shot every time she said literally , I could probably literally like literally be maybe as literally drunk as she literally is .
Literally.
I assume she said that she’s on klonopin, I am prescribed it (to be used as needed for panic disorder) but I would never, ever drink on it. That is lights out for sure!
“Are you in cop?” Proceeds to put seatbelt on 😂 literally
Rumor has it she is still literally saying literally till this day 😂
I could not be a cop
I hope the family of whomever she ends up killing, sue the heck out of that county. This woman has no right to be on the roadways. She is so drunk, she cant even form sentences. Or make any sense, cant follow any instructions at all. Disgraceful.
Thank you officer for doing your job, sad the courts don't follow suit and do their job.
God forbid, I pray she doesn't k*ll anyone. She's dangerous dude.
Their
@kellismith4329 Thank you, Kelli. Nice to see other Kelli's spelled like ours.
@15:39 I hope I'm not the only one who laughed when she leaned her face in for a nose boop when the Lt did the Lack of Convergence test at the end! That was awesome!! 😂👌🏼
Would have been cute in any other situation.
I caught it 😂
Bless her heart, literally!
😂😂 huge LOL and 😳🤦🏽♀️😂
You would think the first DWI would be her wake-up call. Truly so sad... I hope she finds help.
She even lied and wanted us to believe she eats salad all the time...😅
