It's leg day! Oh and don't forget about those biceps! :) Today's strength workout is loaded with some powerful leg and bicep exercises. Three sets total to really fatigue each muscle group and focus on building strength.
Breakdown: 2 strength circuits 12 reps x 3sets
Equipment Needed: dumbbells, stability ball + exercise mat or other soft surface.
*Choose a weight that is challenging but allows you to perform each movement with control and correct form. This weight will be different for each individual! Ball size should be chosen based off of your height. I highly recommend using the ball as it provides additional core and stability work but you can always use a bench, ottoman or perform many of the same exercises on the floor.

Hahaha. I workout everyday, but at the end of this routine, my thighs didn't want to go downstairs. Haha.
W5D3 of 2020 12 week challenge = done. Favorite part was transitioning from frog jumps to deadlifts; hammies needed the stretch. Great combos, albeit it took me a bit to figure out how to control my ball for those ball leg lift thingies...you keep my body and mind challenged. I felt tired this morning.. Didn’t want to workout... did it anyway. It’s was not perfect because I couldn’t do all the moves (eg. I can’t jump the whole time) but I’m proud of myself anyway. I could beat the lack of motivation 💪

I’ve been doing it for 5 weeks and I love it. The only thing I would like it’s a little more variations instead of so many exercises that include squats. Otherwise, great routines!

Excellent workout! You are strong! It's tough to keep up but I'm proud of the process.
Your videos are so well done. Great variety of exercises. Solid contrast of your outfits to the background, lots of camera angles to see the proper form, like all the countdown timers, previews and different bells to alert change in the routine. Lighting is good and the music is nice tempo and motivating. Top Notch! My favourite fitness coach!

Whew week 5 is kicking up the intensity HARD! Did this class yesterday and my legs are seriously feeling it today. The last two months have been the most consistently I've worked out in a long time, and that's largely thanks to this series. Thanks for putting out these videos!

Great quality workouts! I’m on week 5 day 3. Haven’t missed one. I’m more sore again this week! Love that you’re not annoying like so many at home workouts. Also really enjoy the consistent beep reminders so I don’t have to be looking up etc!
Okay so I thought it was just a one workout thing when I had to pause the video several times to keep from passing out! You have stepped up the pace for sure during phase 2 😅 love it and I accept the challenge. So excited to see the results phase 2 will bring 🤗

This is the first time I’m really trying to incorporate and embrace weights in my workouts and I think it’s doing something good! Week 5 has started off strong! Still aching from Monday and Tuesday! Such a good combination of sets! I love that there's some cardio moves too although I did struggle with the last two sets of frog jumps 😂

try wearing a tension band on your knees especially when we are doing jumps and squats which is almost everyday :)
I have a ruptured disc in my low back and have to be careful with jumps so sometimes I just go to my toes instead of a full jump. I also have knee braces I wear.

Ooph. Feeling strong but beat! So, I did a 14 day program of yours first before this one so I’m at what - wk seven straight of working out with you? And I’m at the point where I can see changes and that is really motivating. Have lost 3.25” off waist. Losing about a pound a wk now so 5lbs down from starting point. I can see more defined hamstrings and my butt has a bit of a lift and I can feel a diff in my quads right above my knee. Not quite the tear drop yet but almost! I used to have it so I’m sure I can get it back!! Thank you for such a great program!! Its design is one I’m managing to stick with!!

Amazing workout! Could someone suggests an alternative for the stability ball kick ups? I wasn't sure what to do - did a version of donkey kicks (in a bear position).
This is my least favourite video of HR’s. I much prefer her new ‘real time’ videos. This video requires counted reps, however they’re still timed and are over edited. SO if this is your first video you are trying of HR’s I promise you they are not all like this. Her workouts are amazing, keep pushing through! 💪
