Hi Andrew. Coul I have a question please? Why in the sentence - I have a lump in my throat when she told me that she IS ill not she WAS ill. Thanks a lot for explanation.
Hi A.: in the minutes 11:31, the verb "cry" is a Regular Verb...right? Because you say "cry" is a Irregular Verb??? It confuses me...tell me what is correct, please, thank you...14.11.2017
Regular verbs in the past form, the rule is to add -ed to the base form. Example: walk -> walked. But with the verb cry, we do not add -ed to the base form. We change the "y" to "i" and add -ed. cry -> cried That is what I mean when I say it is irregular. Cryed is wrong. The important thing is to learn the correct past form (cried) Best wishes Andrew
