@@beaur1270 He has broken multiple discs in his back and has had multiple surgeries to try and fix it but he hasn't been able to walk normally for more than a couple yards otherwise he needs crutches
@@beaur1270 He needed surgery due to lifting injuries but the spine surgeon gave him unnecessary ones and made it harder for him to walk. Now he is undergoing stem cell therapy which he says is going very well with him!

I remember about 20 years ago, I was training to enter a junior bodybuilding contest. I watched absolutely everything Ronnie did and had done. I sent him an email saying he was such an inspiration and thanked him for what he had done for the sport. I of course did not expect an answer, but HE DID! He sent me a very nice email back and wished me luck. I couldn't believe it. Thank you so much for being authentically you, Ronnie
how did you manage to get his email?

i remember seeing him talk about gettin fan emails and that he wouldnt go to bed that night until he got back to everyone that had messaged him that day even if it meant being up till 4 in the morning! the man is just a genuine good dude that also happens to be the best ever at his chosen profession

ronnie is such a humble guy it must be fun to be around him its sad to see how much his injuries did to him i wish him only the best. dispite all the injuries he still works out and he loves it thats how you can see how much working out and the gym really means to him most people would have quit so many times before he did truly inspiring.

@WhyNot It was combination of lifelong HEAVY lifting, lifting with damaged hernia, botched operation in his words and not getting proper recovery. Basically his spine holds together because of screws and those need constant readjustments, fixing... to hold in place and can damage nerves.

I love the positivity and joy that Ronnie Coleman shares. He has some medical issues now that we will all have one day, but that doesn't stop him from spreading joy and going to the gym.
So much respect for Ronnie. The best ever imo. Shows how passionate he truly is/was when Jesse asks would you change anything in what you've accomplished and, knowing the situation he is in now, he responds ''Yep! I would've done 6 reps instead of two'' talking about that ridiculous weight he squatted. Fascinating.

His love for working out is truly infectious, a shame that that commitment to such an extreme level has harmed his body so much. He still looks like he is happy though, and I hope that never changes.
The craziest thing is, after he herniated a disc, he sat on the couch for 2 weeks, then his first workout back was squats. I’m 3 months post herniated disc, and walking is excruciating. I cant imagine squatting after 2 weeks

I start going to the gym seriously and watching Coleman inspire me, I don’t know what has this dude but every time I saw his videos I start almost crying, it’s like I feel proud of him and I don’t even know him since 4 days ago.

It's that myostatin deficiency that he has, that's his genetics that's why he's still lean and why he still can have that much muscle.
