i bet the car wizard is thrilled about this. he seems to have a sweet fondness for the pulsars..such cool little cars. i never see these anymore especially like this. sweet little car, euroasian bob!
Those cars were cool. You could replace the back hatchback and put on the optional station wagon square hatch. They were amazing. (There weren't too many station wagon hatches....may had seen one in my lifetime.)
Thanks for the lunch tip if/when I'm driving thru Salina! Very cool little Nissan with T-Tops!! My only "complaint" about the little ride....it's an automatic. What fun it would be as a 5 speed!!
This was the world's first modular car, as it could literally be anything you wanted it to be. A coupe, a convertible. a station wagon, or a pickup truck with or without a cap!!!!!!
My first speeding ticket was in a Pulsar NX when I worked at a Nissan/ Mazda dealer back in 1991! I was just reading about the growth of little burger stands in the KC area. I grew up in the St Louis area with white castle. I need to plan a "slider rally" that hits up all these 90-100 yr old burger joints!
love those, friend got one new, then got popped and bought a 85 Dodge pickup. we just now sold the pickup and this would be a surprise to see it back. In its own way. Hmm.. (can't afford it)
Wow what a throwback to my younger days, my boyfriend way back had a earlier turbo one of these, unfortunately he & I was cut out of it after loosing it & hitting a tree pretty hard, but yeah sweet little car, Rj in Oz
My heart sank a bit seeing the 'e-mail for price' on the site. I've learned if I have to ask I can't afford it. Whomever gets it needs to find the replacement hatch to complete it.
The reason is because it will most be likely going up for auction on Bring a Trailer. No comparables for this car so the market and high bidder will set the price.
When I started dating my wife 31 plus years ago, she had one of these in an SE with the bigger motor. Her first new car. After dating for a few months I sold the car back to the Nissan dealer to get rid of her payment and put her is a red Corvette. The rest is history!!
SOLD!
I haven’t seen one of those in over twenty years, very cool car in phenomenal shape. SCORE 🎉

He is ready to do some maintenance on it!
@@euroasianbob9268 maybe he'll give us a review on it. "Euroasian Bob has done it, AGAIN! He keeps finding these gems!"
Hey Bob, this Pulsar is a real time capsule & is in great shape!! Great adventure with great sliders, it doesn't get much better than that!!! 👍👍🙂
I loved these while in high school. If i had a garage, that would be mine. Cool little car.
I used to work at Foreign Cars Unlimited and I always thought those Pulsars were pretty cool little cars and very easy to work on. Awesome find!

I found a video that shows the wagon option ua-cam.com/video/JA6XqoxO5jE/v-deo.html (although I don't agree with the topic of the video)
It's very clean Bob, and it's got Pop up headlight's 😜👍
I always liked the Pulsar, big fan of the wedge styling of the era. Great find, you always have the unique cars.

Great little restaurant. Next time you're in Salina, check out Bogey's on 9th Street. That was a treat to go to when I attended KSU-Salina.
Eaten there many times when wife shows horses at state fair.
That darn radar detector got me again
Lol. Got you!
Mustard, pickles, onions. The best burger!

It’s crazy, White Castle started in Wichita but none here. I think KC is closest.

Love time capsules; hope to see a Corolla SR5 or GTS one of these days on here in similar condition.
Me too!

I've eaten there a few times, while testing wind turbine software on a site near there. Awesome food! And now I'm hungry 😂
Lol!
Oh my thats so very clean!! Not worth a million bucks, but she is more reliable than anything modern these days :D I guess thats based on N13 platform
What I was wanting as my first Time Machine but it needed the wagon hatchback and I couldn’t find one.
Beautiful car
Looks like the front end on my 86 Integra
Sigh. I would have had to keep this. This is probably the finest example in the world.
I see the car is sold. What did it go for Bob?
Thanks for showing us the Cozy Inn burger place! - Greetings from Canada.
It sold for $15k.

Ya. 12 burgers. 🍔
Are you related to Ray Liotta ?
Lol
Didn't most of these that survived get made into drift cars?
No. FWD. You are thinking of 240SX.
how much did you sell it for? I had a brand new one in 1989 and I would love to find another one
@@mxmom100 I would have to check. Seems like it was $12k-$13k.
T-tops ??
Yes!
