Loving Kiive plugins - They have modeled some incredibly difficult units including the Neve MBT which is just an incredible unit for mix bus. I have every CL1B emulation but don't really love any of them. I have a WA1B at home that sounds incredible on vocals, but I am not in the mood to buy 2 for stereo. Can't wait to try this one out and see how it fares against my WA1B.
@@SunnyTure Love it! I do pop music so I enjoy the clarity the KC-1 provides. I still always run the comped/tuned lead vocal through the WA1B > WA76, but if I'm on the road the KC1 is perfect. I also just print it on each individual harmony, double, etc since I'm too lazy to run that through hardware. In my opinion it blows the softube version out of the water. Honorable mention though goes out to Softube TLA-100A which I just rediscovered. On a fast attack and medium release I can get the BGV locked in place at -10 to -15dbGR shockingly transparently. I cannot believe how well that one performs. I can literally get the vocal louder than I can with other compressors because it's so effective.
The LA2A and the CL1B are similar compressors, and at the same time, VERY different compressors too! This is closer to the CL-1B but it never hurts to compare to any tool! Happy Mixing!
Hi Tim, can you make a Tutorial Video about how you record DAW audio directly while recording your screen sharing for making these UA-cam Videos. Kindly.
@@TimTalksAudio Ok Tim I'll wait for your video. I already know the reaplugs method but want to know how you do it bacause I didn't saw reaplugs in your main out channel!!!
Thank you so much for checking it out Tim! 💚🤘
Thank you for making another great tool for us to use!!

Must compare this to the LA2A models I have, this seems to be a bit more transparent and control dynamics very well indeed

I certainly can! There's a lot of different way to do it and what I do works for me, so sharing how I do it can be enlightening!
