I'm just getting in to sea fishing as only done salmon and sea teout fishing in fresh water and all the videos I watch make it sound so complicated with fancy rigs and the amount of gear they lug across the beach but fair play pal you make it look nice and simple and love how lightweight you fish with basic equipment etc. Loving the videos keep them coming. Great help for a beginner like me

I'm not sure on the specific beaches up there but they are all pretty much the same with mainly flounder, bass and the odd sea trout being caught from the beaches. The best baits to use are ragworm and mackerel strip.

Hi the fixed spool reel that I use on my beach caster is a Penn battle two 7000 long cast other than that I usually use multiplier reels.

A couple of them are locked at 10pm the one I parked at between minchella and the pub doesn't get locked.
