    Attention while watching the video❗
    The author of the video must be warned that the striking technique is shown in detail and commented on for lefties!
    In this video, both the coach and the student are left-handed❗
    All right-handed players must mirror and translate all comments for themselves.
    Very good video👍

    Words mean more than what is set down on paper. It takes the human voice to infuse them with deeper meaning. Maya Angelou. Welcome back to the voice of Coach ERT!

    thx for the vid, very useful tips! I always tell my local clubmates when you flick backspin short ball, you have to hit more of the side of the ball but they don't believe me (they are not that good).

      Adding sidespin makes it easier to flick, but if you want improve your touch, hitting the top/back of the ball and lifting the backspin is good practice. It helps you develop a very thin contact. During matches you can do whatever is more effective. Generally speaking, you want to avoid the axis of spin when flicking. Dead balls however should be contacted on the top. Contacting the ball too much on the side can lead to bad form if you don't have a coach. To avoid bad form, make sure that your wrist is relaxed enough to be able consciously choose and vary the contact point.

    Does anyone know, why many coaches, including this, (00:40) have a racket with only one rubber?

      to make it lighter - that is good when you coach hours & hours.

    • @infinitt4619
      @infinitt4619 2 роки тому +1

      Many coaches do that it’s basically to lighten the racquet so it becomes easy to coach for 3 hours continuously

    Hi Coach! Can you tell me what rubbers to use on Tibhar Stratus Power, please? I'm playing pretty offensive I like attacking fast on forehand and trying to loop the heavy backspin as well. I'm pretty offensive on backhand as well but, I need to improve my backhand flick! It is pretty bad.Butterfly are pretty expensive can you recommend something else, please. Thanks for your videos, helps a lot. Have a great day.
