@Apollo Alaric Thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm in the hacking process atm. Seems to take a while so I will reply here later with my results.
I have been a master mechanic for over 20 years, and I really enjoy working on these vehicles. They are incredibly easy to work on and have a very simple design. AUDI on the other hand is a total nightmare.
sonesthrow420: How difficult is the belt service, I heard it can be done on eh 360 without engine removal. Also, what is the service interval for the F1 transmission clutch, and how difficult is job is that for an owner to do themself? I'm up to doing any service task, but being inefficient (not a master mech) at some point the hours involved turn it into NOT being a fun hobby .. this is why I am asking these questions, I want to do the work myself, but only if it will be a sensible amount of hours.
This Ferrari probably has aged the best. Or, at the very least, it's one of my favorite exotics. There is no over the top design elements on this beauty.
your a lucky guy.that is a timeless classic you got there.you can enjoy it and it is gonna be worth more when and if you sell it.awesome video.your living the dream in that car
Crazy that car is almost 20 years old.....instantly was my favorite "unattainable" car when I first saw it. The design is so clean it's timeless. Compare it to the cars 20 years before it's time... imo Koenigsegg is a modern equivalent to the 360's design.
Very tasteful mods, love it! I feel like you just opened my eyes to wonders of modding a Ferrari. I had always scoffed at anything not factory stock and Ferrari certified, but now that I'm fairly close to actually owning one these are definitely some things I will do. This was also my poster car as a kid, I can't imagine what it'd be like to own. Thanks for helping me realize that it's still just a car and I shouldnt be afraid to make it my own.
Thanks! There are a lot of enthusiasts that want their Ferrari stock. In that case you can always just save the parts and restore it when you sell it. However if it's your car and you're going to keep it, you can do whatever you want with it . :)
I love the mods you did. Challenge rear grill is a must. The 19's really do bring it up to date in a very subtle way. Carbon interior trim and yellow tach are icing on the cake! Nicely done
Good job man. It looks nice and you can tell you've earned it. I'm still kicking myself for not picking up a Challenge Stradale 10 years ago when they were way cheaper. Oh well! Other good investments sucked up my money and that's fine, but I really do need to get a 360 or CS one day in the next couple years before they start getting dumb expensive! Good job and enjoy it!
George my wife and I drove this in Italy on vacation. A total blast!!! I'm from your crypto station and if things work well with Cardano, maybe I'll have one too!! :)
What’s crazy is that the 360 has the same dimensions as a Testarossa with the exception of it’s height. The 360 sits at 49” tall and the Testarossa is 44.5” tall. The Testarossa was always considered a big car for it’s day especially it’s width and always looks bigger than it actually is in photos. I’d love to see a photo of a 308/328, Testarossa, F40, 355, 360, F430, 458 and 488 side by side so you could see the size comparison of each.
You've got a stunning car there. The 360 has a timeless design, with a lot of styling cues taken from the Dino. Way more elegant design than later models. And you're modifications are very tasteful. Top marks!
This is the ONLY ferrari I would buy because you're right about the look its classic supercar and classy. Really think you put in great mods too especially the vented back for the engine heat which makes a lot of sense.
Drivers Only I’ve never seen your channel before but I love the upgrades you made. Looks great. I’d change the interior carpet to black. It’ll make your interior pop and hide stains.
Something about the late 90’s early 2000’s cars just have a warm place in my heart. This car reminds me of all the hip hop music videos, cradle 2 the grave and PS2 racing games. Timeless vehicle period
Very nice choice George. I am not typically a car guy, more into SUV's and trucks, but this has been my favorite car for a while now, and is awesome! Good work man
This is why out of all the Italian manufacturers I prefer the Ferraris, they have a timeless design and they are rare. Who would have thought this car is from 2001? It is very futuristic and has one of the best tail lights in history.
I agree. The rear end of the 360 is the absolute best! When I drive this around, everyone gawks at it like its brand new. The design is really timeless.
I am not a fan of these cars at all. However, I support this man's enthusiasm for his car. He's a great example of the type of passionate owner who gets joy from his vehicle, and probably just enjoys life more because of it. I have the same type of passion for the cars that *I* enjoy, and I wish more would discover the fulfillment of being a, "car guy." In the end, it doesn't matter what brand you support, as long as you love your car.
Nice video! I've owned my 2000 360 coupe for 6 yrs and still absolutely love it! I've done all the mods you performed and more (I put Stradale wheels on mine). I'm planning to do a factory Stradale body kit next year. I've driven 430's and owned a late model Gallardo and also currently also own a 997 turbo. But the 360 really is (as you say) special. By the way, I've done a lot of maintenance and it really is not bad. You really can do much of the work yourself and major work like belts, clutch, etc. take it to a dealer.
Definitely the best video on the 360 and I am even more convinced to buy one. my natural assumption was to get one now after researching it it's confirming my intuition
Hey man I just wanted to let you know that you've inspired me to buy a Ferrari. I really never would have had the courage, or thought it was possible until I started watching your channel. Thanks!!
Man George .you amaze me again. Top Gear is my favourite. . Drivers only yet close behind 😉. Busy days from now . Have to see 2 vids a day now . Don,t need to say to enjoy this Supercar . That s obvious
Yeah man, I really like that new headliner. Looks slick. Same with the carbon fiber. Also, the tach face plate reminds me of the 430. Love it man! Glad you’ve been enjoying it! Edit: If you haven’t already, you should check out Normal Guy Supercar. He [HAD] a 430 and just sold it and got a 458 but he does all the work himself. His buddy has a 360 Spyder and recently replaced the headers and exhaust. It sounds sooooo sick. The stock muffler really makes it sound tame. But with the new exhaust system, dude. It sounds fierce! Like a true Ferrari!! Good luck my dude!
Hey bro, great video. Thank you so much for sharing. I’m actually considering buying one and hence do have a question, how is the « Auto » during traffic condition. Would be great to have a video of driving it in auto during traffic and high way but in auto mode if you can. Cheers
Funny how I’ve been watching you for almost a year now and I always thought you knew nothing about cars. And now suddenly getting all this information from you and hearing you talk about cars, really does sound funny lol.
hey bro. I just watched your video and saw how happy you were! You did some amazing upgrades! but why are you selling it only after a year? thanks for your time and help with the great video of this beautiful car..
It’s been a few years now. Do you still have this? Thanks for the fantastic review and upgrade suggestions. 👍🏽 I’m torn between holding out for a 430, for the main logic of added reliability, and the long run of maintenance costs being noticeably lower to compare to the 360? For that reason, the 430 could arguably be cheaper? Otherwise, I like that the 360 is initially more affordable.
I agree with the choice being the best cheaper supercar.. i also really like the r8's they are getting to the high 50's and the gtr you can get a 2012 for around 50k
Great job on the review! Maybe you answered this already and I missed it Your carbon fiber upgrades look great! Are they all from the same manufacturer? Please identify if possible. May do the same to my 1999 360
Love the F430 wheels but my local ferrari guy told Me I can’t put bigger than the original 18’s, he said it would mess up the ABS. But of course I’ve seen scores of 360s with bigger than 18s..have you had any issues ?
Thanks for opening our eyes, can't believe it's just $60K. What did the mods cost you? Can you use it daily or is it a weekend car? And how's the car holding up 4 years later?
Great review, love the Ferrari 360/F430! I would argue that the Evora 400 / Evora GT is a definite modern-day classic throwback car available today to give similar sensations of classic supercars!
@@DriversOnly It was great and they will only get better. Good to have a little self doubt - won't make us arrogant or complacent and makes us desire improvement. We are all always learning! I applaud your positive creative spirit. Onwards andupwars!
Idk y u didn’t get black wheels when u changed them. Tht’s my only critique (purely subjective ofc). But yes the 360 is a great representation of the transition they made from the 80s/90s squares/angular bodies with repressed headlights into the 00s with the curvy/natural lines n open headlights. Very nice car for sure
Check out the newest Drivers Only Rankings to see how this 360 ranks vs the competition: driversonlyrankings.com/
Have you had issues with the battery not holding it’s charge? Doug Demuro mentions it as being a problem.

@Apollo Alaric It worked and I finally got access to my account again. I'm so happy:D
Thank you so much you really help me out !
I have been a master mechanic for over 20 years, and I really enjoy working on these vehicles. They are incredibly easy to work on and have a very simple design. AUDI on the other hand is a total nightmare.
Thanks for sharing. I hear 360 onwards Ferrari made things easy to work on but not so much with the 355s and before.
Audi isn't that bad once you figure it out. I've owned my audi for 3 years now, I do all my work myself. The audi mechanics are brain dead though.
Audi is more computer then car
Audis will bankrupt you quick

every time I think about selling my 360 and getting a 458 i have to watch this.
ron tops if you can afford a 458 DO IT 😁
@Bill Gall DA
In other word you stuck with 360.... I want to get F430 but i can never find time to fix it or maintenance it yet...
Sell it to me! lol
Make sure you got a fire extinguisher
This Ferrari probably has aged the best. Or, at the very least, it's one of my favorite exotics. There is no over the top design elements on this beauty.
I agree :)
Dam bro, that's a beautiful and super clean Modena. I'm really happy that you're totally satisfied. Congrats!
Thanks man. Can't wait till this spring/summer again.
Such a timeless design plus with probably the best looking rear end of any car today especially with the challenge grill 🤤
360 is no slouch but the 355 got the best butt ever.

Compare it to the cars 20 years before it's time...
imo Koenigsegg is a modern equivalent to the 360's design.
You could say the same about the lambo murcielago or the 2004 gallardo
Also the same goes for the F40 imo the real wedge shape super car
F430.....better 360 is underpower and just too expensive for repair or maintain...
You can find these for 60 grand, I wouldn’t say unattainable
Great video! Answered alot of my questions. And do like the changes you made. Especially the headliner.
Thanks, apprecaite it!

MY FAVORITE FERRARI. I love the 360. It is IMO the most beautiful car ever built. Did you look for a Challenge Stradale
Yes too much money for me right now

Are you on Ferrarichat?
Thanks, yes I am. I'm always looking thru the classifieds now :)
congratulations!!!! awesome.
Love the quilted roof liner. The 430 wheels are great but I have no issues with the OEM either. Ferrari knew what they were doing with this car.
One common problem with the 360 is with the roof liner failing apart. That is why I was forced to change it.
Nice add ons! Well done video showcasing the pros and cons of the 360. 2001, wow... looks new...
Thanks. I get followed or get a thumbs up almost everytime I go out for a drive because most people think it's new.
