Everyone who has wasted way too much money on Warhammer should have boxes of spare arms, heads, bits, etc. Toss some bits on those brutes, autodrones, ARMS, and they'll make great Deamon Princes, Dreadnoughts, Tau Suits. Those synths remind me of the old screamer killers, and of course, orks can loot anything!
I saw 2 classic Dreadnoughts, a Hive Tyrant, a Carnifex, a Demon Prince and some Demon Machines. If the rubber stuff is paintable this toy line might actually make a good basis for some kitbashed proxies.
they are not screw holes. the holes on the mechs are for mounting various weapons and accessories. these are super popular for making mechs and giant monsters. the accessories are great for kit bashing too.
Unfortunately these are not readily available in the UK. also the articulated Halo figures in 1:32 and 1:72 are no longer on the market, they were very handy for sci-fi toy sets. I make up 'toy soldier' sets to give away to less well off folks, the kids seem to play with them in the same way we did 60 years ago, kids haven't changed. These would make a useful adjunct for 3-10 year old sci fi sets (currently they get de-winged dragons, modified dinosaurs and Halloween 'insects').
Great job showcasing the usefulness of these Final Faction figures. I have used a lot of these in a variety of games. I love 'em. There are a ton of weapons and small bits that make great small-scale spacecraft for games like A Billion Suns, Grimdark Future: Warfleets, and the venerable Warp War. The same bits are great for customizing cars for Gaslands. I used a lot of the alien figures and bits for monsters and aliens in Dragon Rampant and Zenos Rampant. The more human tech stuff has provided stuff for an imperial guard style army in zenos rampant. Plus, ALL of it is great for adding bits to terrain projects. Keep up the good work Ash! ❤
@@AshQuest My cousin had the Castle Greyskull play set. I was so jealous, I only had He-Man and Battle Cat. But I had more Ninja Turtles, so that evened out. 😛
as an 80s kid, I too nearly resorted to violence at the suggestion that the 90s was the Golden Age of toys. Star Wars, Transformers, GI Joe/Action Force...No decade was filled with more children jealous of their friend's toys, and more full of terminally broke parents who just wanted little Timmy to shut the HECK UP about Optimus blummin' Prime!

I had started collecting GI joes in the late 80’s, then went ninja turtles, then X-men. I think my favorite and end of toy collecting was exo- squad mechs. Those rocked because of having a figure and a mech. Great toys there.
You in America are lucky to have nice shops to find great stuff for low prices. We in the Netherlands have to travel high and low to find something cheap and compatible. Anyway nIce video.
I used a bunch of final faction bug monsters as a great crusade xenos faction. I fortunately no one wants to play me but hey it’s one of my largest armies.
I picked up one of these years ago for a Necron titan and also a human vehicle which once assembled was way too big to use so I gave it to a friend's kid.
The old g1 transformers had stat blocks like those which is what I think they were inspired from. I think these guys work great for someone wanting to try their hand at kitbashing. I loved the PSA.
I mean, these look like awesome toys, and I love a good conversation, but someone just dropping these down as "40k models" feels cheap and lazy. Cheaper than the $1.25
Hey these are good for kitbashing to. That thing at 20:00 I picked up a year ago and took the face off it and put on a dollar tree Skellator and made a diy Illithid. The only downer is he's a mind flayer that's as beefy as a 1980s super villain, my friend gave me crap for it, good laughs
I've got some Final Faction stuff I plan on kitbashing at some point for my Ork army. It is a bit of a shame that they seem to be winding down on Final Faction.
Too bad these were actually discontinued awhile back. So these are actually getting pretty rare. I know because I was buying the weapon upgrades for gaslands. You can still find them in many stores but they won’t be replaced so you got quite a haul, I’ve never even seen that mech!
That's too bad. They're actually at every DT store in this county and in the neighboring counties where I live - Wonder what they'll get replaced with?
These aren't as cool as the weird ohs that I was able to buy at the Dollar Tree a while back.Which sell for around 25 bucks aftermarket. Bought 6 wish I bought more. I might get some of these though😊

There was a Churro figure, it came with a Robotic Dog it could pilot, and the Robot Dog could be fitted with parts from the accessory packs meant for the human mech figures. I never saw many of them in any of my stores though, so I only had a couple of them.
Current WH40K is over priced and over rated. One Page Rules is way better and you can use your old WH40K miniatures if you don't want to start from scratch

My Dollar Tree had some mini doll houses that made perfect ruin terrain. Also the Sand Castle buckets work pretty good too.
I like those ideas; I've wondered how those doll houses might be put to use and ruins would work well if I had a few more supplies.

I love final faction. Some of the monsters are great for cutting up to make tyranid bits.
Some of these would make cool Xenos Bounty Hunters for 54mm Inquisitor.

I painted one of the P-131 mechs yellow like a piece of construction equipment. I should get another and do a better job, since it was my first.
