Which room and location were you in?
@Otieno Preferred Club Family Club, it's a separate building furthest from the beach but the largest room layouts and the building has a dedicated pool, bar & a couple restaurants right downstairs

Soon, everything will have tiers, or "preferred," to further deepen the divide in social status. Looking forward to when even public transportation buses will also start having "preferred" seats for a few extra dollars. Most people only know such acts' long-term impact on society as a whole once it's too late.
I agree with you! Two hotels that don't have a tier system, fantastic all around, are Hyatt Ziva Riviera Cancun and Catalonia Royal La Romana

Where did you find the bottle of Patron? Did one of the preferred bars give you a bottle?
In case the liquor isn't great, we make a habit of picking up a bottle or 2 from duty free when we land. In this resort's case, it came in clutch! Still a good resort though. Have a great trip!

@pushap137 I'm jealous! The beach is s t u n n i n g, the dominican fried chicken is so good! For tequila, they had Jose Cuervo, we spotted a nicer brand 1x, but they also have a couple local tequila brands
How was the food?
Very good. I heard from friends that it use to not be but I think the resort took the feedback to heart because the pizza, the fried chicken, the italian a la carte, the preferred restaurants, the main buffet, were all good!
