Hi Bilal. I’m worried about the rain forecasts in Antalya. I booked from December 9-13 but it shows that it will be raining the whole time. Are rain forecasts accurate at antalya? I mean even when it shows raining, does it rain the whole time during that day? How else can we contact you for questions?
Hi, forecasts are showing that it will be raining, but it's still early to tell. It might change. Please ask your questions here to benefit others too.
@@tiptopturkey thanks Bilal. Is it recommended to rent a car and drive in the city? I know no Turkish at all. Will I have trouble filling gas or finding parking in the old city or Konyaalti beach or other touristic areas? I’m worried that there is no parking available or that I will have to park in paid parking lots where I can get scammed.
You are welcome! Inside the city you will find some free spots to park. The malls' parkings are free. Paid parkings won't be expensive, for example, Konyaalti beach parking the maximum is 70 Turkish Lira for 12 hours, some places might be a little bit more. As for the gas stations, someone will fill your car, no self-service. Just tell them "full" and they will fill it. They will check if your car is diesel or petrol. You can either pay by cash or by credit card inside the stations grocery shops, and you can see how much you have to pay on the screen. I believe there are no scams in fuel stations.
Welcome! Inside the old city, cars are not allowed, you can park nearby then walk inside it. You can search on google maps for "otopark". If you don't have a car, you can reach Kaleiçi the old town by taxi or bus.

Turks have no problems with Armenians, unlike the horrible treatment of Turkish tourists in Armenia- we personally endured that last year because of the war with Azerbaijan.

Hi, Antalya is warmer than Istanbul. Antalya is somehow mild in December while Istanbul is cold. You will need in Istanbul clothing similar to London, especially at night.
