Thanks Chaz!
Great to hear you're getting back on track!
Thanks so much!
Hey Chris! Nice to see you posting!! Can't wait to see some pics/video about the space!
Thanks James!!
I highly recommend Drum Recording Boot Camp, it is excellent
Thanks Rick!!
That's a great news to see you back.
Thanks Ronan!
What if you are tracking drums in a live/rehearsal environment? I'm thinking the mics should be closer to the kit to avoid bleed,
I’ve been recording since 1974. Most of that time, in very well known/high-end studios. I was never much of a button pusher. I’ve learned so much from RCM. The drum workshop is amazing! Thanks, Ronan!
Rock on! Thanks so much!!
SO nice to have you back sharing your enthusiasm and knowledge Ronan. 👍
Thanks!
Welcome back to the studio! I want to record a Doo Wop/Walker Brothers/Beach Boys inspired song I wrote. To get a similar vibe, would Kick, Mono overhead, and Room mic work for drums? I’ve only ever done metal and modern rock recordings.
That should totally work. just make sure that you have the right snare balance in the overheads.
Excellent news. All the best to you & your family.
Thanks!!
