Which de-essers do I have and use? Techivation T-de-esser was the first, then others like the SSL De-ess, Eiosis E2DeEsser, and Harrison DeEsser. I have a perpetual license for the SSL, Techivation T-de-esser was free, and the Eiosis and Harrison are in the SSL Slate Complete.
I'm using Eiosis currently.
PS I use those same Klanghelm Vu meters in neon too.

Good info, but this all moves too slow when a person is trying to get the point quickly. Also, a real hi-hat would be a much better real world example. Electronic sounds are consistent, precise, and much easier to de-ess.
