Griffin is one good looking dude and he is so happy. What a great car seat, hope you get used to the swivel it will make thing so much easier getting him in and out.

Great car seat. I didn't understand what you were saying about the using the seat belt to go over the car seat. Do you put it on him after attaching the harness?
I think the harness straps need to be a bit tighter. Griffin shouldn't be able to sit forward at all. I also think if the straps were tighter he wouldn't be able to touch Harrison as much as he did.
I really hope the new car seat works out well for all of you.
Yes, the harness should be tighter and the harness clip higher.
This seat is a booster seat, so the vehicle seat belt must be used. It’s confusing because there IS a 5pt harness, but in this case, the harness is for positioning, not restraint.

I’m binge watching we have been having alot of deaths in the family so I had time to watch asap when they come out but I’m catching up now but I do comment on FB and IG. Griffin is adorable and always smiling.

He said buckle!? Right at the end of van shot. He said "bubba" as he was kinda showing the belt buckle! Am I crazy?

Wow. Griffin looks so happy. His new seat is awesome. Glad that it swivels and it seems so much safer. Not that your Graco Car Seat wasn’t safe for him but those things have buckles that aren’t very safe. Some kids have been known to unbuckle themselves with that seat. I am glad that it swivels so you guys can unbuckle him quicker and everything. I agree maybe you could install a ramp for the car so he can just walk up and sit in it.And then once he is in all you guys have to do is buckle him in. It would be easier for him to just get in by himself(kind of) and less back breaking since he is getting bigger .
I bet that seat will be super helpful for you guys! Have you ever met with a CPST? We have some that specifically handle special needs. I’d be happy to set you up with one to work alongside with the seat manufacturer guy :)
Cool-glad you got it! 👏 I’ve been concerned about your backs as Griffin is getting heavier. I saw how Will helped him step up into the van (which spares Will’s back), but then Will did lift Griffin up into the seat. I guess when G gets a little taller, maybe he can get into the seat by himself. For now, could you swivel it and use a set of small stairs or a little ramp so Griffin can walk up to the seat? I thought the arm safety harness would stop his using his arm to grab Harrison. Sort of works, but hope you keep the plexiglass, just in case you decide you still need it.

Griffin is just so cute!! That seat seems complicated 2 me, you schould've cleaned under it when you had the chance cuz it seems like it may never come back out again!! Lol

What is the name of Griffin's new car seat and it wouldn't work for my son you think he's six that he has autism and audio processing disorder and apraxia of speech. He has recently figured out how to unbuckle both the chest clip and the crotch strap. We've been desperately looking to find a good solution for him.
