Have to say, these Upgrades and new Units looks very good. And the Tau in general were one the Sources for my self created fictional Faction(which took me three years to write everything down, cause i retconed their background multiple times to make it understandable). What i like about the Tau is their Diversity in Species-Terms. And their Walkers/Mechs reminds me so well of the Mobile Suits from Gundam(the first generations and special ones build in all series-variants)
Is there Anywhere i can read abt this faction?
Unification mod is superb indeed. They have alot more units with good details.

Great new tau models and most of them are bug free. Though it was sad to see the GhostKeel suit still have it's firing on the move animation bug, it's practically been a year since I sent visual proof of the issue and it still wasnt fixed :(
i wish there's a farsight unit
he'd need to be in his own faction: the Farsight Enclaves. they've got a lot going for them. melee weapons, humans among their ranks, no Ethereals telling them what to do, lobotomized Space Marine clones. and recently, a guy on art station did some sweet artwork of proper Space Marines called the Luna Blades, be nice to see them in official lore and in mods.
@@palpadur1112 hate to break your optimism but the mod creators confirmed two things about the Farsight Enclave.
- Commander Farsight will be added as a part of the T’au Empire.
- Gue’vesa units will not be added because they are just a reskinned versions of Fire Warriors.
@@apolloknight9521it's good to know that Farsight will eventually be in the mod. to bad we won't see Space Marines as part of the Tau's army, but i can see why they wouldn't want them, since the Tau don't really do the whole "Servitor" thing. at least not in public. it would be funny though, seeing cloned Space Marines ruin a Cultists' spleen with a back-hand execution. have the mod creators said whether or not they'll give Farsight the Dawn Sword, or keep him as a ranged unit?
@@palpadur1112 there is confirmation that Farsight will be using the Dawn Blade as his melee weapon with additional range based weaponry.
@@apolloknight9521 Actually we confirmed the Farsight Enclaves will be as their own sub faction.

But you are right about the Gue'Vesa. Albeit, we have two cases of them in. The one as part of Dehak's Crew and the corpse on one of the Chaos Terminator decos.
(Three if you count a special easter egg unit.)
I have a tau army painted up, I like it when you can buy 2 sets of 10 fire warriors and have extra spruces with spare to create a further 5 more minis.

Только как он может быть экзоскелетом, если Таунар является боевой платформой?
@@mewtwo493 официально KX139 Ta'unar - это пилотируемый боескафандр. Не знаю, можно ли его назвать экзоскелетом, или же данное определение сюда не совсем подходит.
@@IronGamingChannel Ну насколько я помню, сьюты - помечены всегда в наименовании у тау буквой X - что означает, экзоскелеты пилотируемые одним пилотом ( XV 15, XV8, XV 88, XV104 и т.д). В свою же очередь, боевые машины, они же боевые платформы( не путать с танковой техникой), помечены буквой K - пилотируемые двумя или больше пилотами: KV128 Штормсюрдж, KX139 Таунар. Поэтому экзоскелетом их никак не обозначить. Если что напутал, просьба поправить.

Where are the Gue'vesa Units in this Mod?
Only in an Easter Egg you have to enable yourself. They're functionally the same as a Fire Warrior, so there's no point in making dedicated Gue'vesa units.
