Sir, l saw your video , I have a left hand willys jeep hurricane engin cj_3B model, the carburetor used is the solex any amount of tuning the carburetor is of no use you get a rich mixture & the plugs get fouled, you need to remove the plugs and clean them, than the engine comes to normal and again the same problem after a few km. In the owners manual they have recommend the Carter carburetor, if I can get one will the problem be solved please let me know I need your suggestion. I shall be waiting for your reply.
Nice Jeep ...Can you share its VIN plate details which are on the firewall and another one is behind the passenger seat ... the prefix start 8105 onwards ...I have 67 LHD 3B.. in his serial, the last letter was M so can you provide me what was stamped on the RHS of the chassis outer rail and on VIN plate...I am doing research on jeep so curious about the jeep And for the carb(Solex) which is not original generally Willys has Carter YF series carb...if the carb overflowing check for blockage and packing screws, etc., you can replace it with the new PACCO carb. Also, install a priming pump of tata safari which help quick cranking during cold start. Thanks :D

Never faced this issue with my Solex. Just get someone to tune it right 😃
