Great advice for keeping the paramotor community safe Trevor 👍👍. I know it is winter in the US (I live in Aus), but when summer comes round for you again, I would love to see you and Dell take off mid-day on a hot day, cut your motors at the same time and fly thermals only, seeing which one of you stays airborne the longest. Flying motor free on hot days in thermal conditions with the turbulence that comes with it is something that is not shown much by the UA-cam paramotor experts. Using the motor to get to altitude then to paraglide for hours is the best flying experience I know 🪂🪂

Trevor is correct. I just went through the last super training in November 2021, and I am amazed at the skills I was able to learn. When I finally took my first flight (day 6 I think), I wasn't worried at all, and the training worked, because I flew, landed, repeated several times, and I'm still here to type about it. I was doing the correct inputs to the glider and motor, and I didn't have to think about it much, it almost felt natural to me... like I knew what I was doing!
Thanks again Trevor, for all the one on one time you spent with me, and I appreciate the knowledge you let me take from you!

We disagree on some things but I do believe you have really good training. I too think it's SO important with ground handling 👍🏻

This sounded scary at first until you explained how the ground training becomes second nature.

But does the glider behave the same in turbulence on the ground as when it is in the sky?

      That’s a good question!

Ground handling is the backbone of active flying.

I couldn't agree with you more if you cannot control your wing on the ground you should not fly.
