I just bought my first autoart model 1:18 Porsche 911 901 in dark red, rare model, but I’m on the fence with lcd because it’s a newer company, and I don’t know if they’re models with gain value over time. I think lcd has a lot of work to do in order to get near the popularity of autoart. For now I’m going to continue buying bbr models. And maybe some autoart models. Great video! Love the content !
Hi I think if you compare LCD model to the new AUTOart composite models they are pretty much neck and neck very similar and I would edge LCD over the new AUTOart models however LCD are some way off the older AUTOart Signature Series models. BBR is another interesting point keen to get a newer Diecast model from them but prices are very expensive now but I have my eye on the La Ferrari aperta hopefully soon thanks
Hi wow great collection of McLaren Supercars I need to get a LCD model for my collection hopefully soon please subscribe for more videos to come soon thanks
Hey hnk I just received my bbr Enzo in the mail and unfortunately one of the side mirrors broke off and I’m trying to figure out how to fix it, do you have any recommendations or advice on gluing back on the mirror straight? Any tips on holding it while it dries? Because I’m nervous it will be crooked because I want it exactly the way the other side mirror is.
Oh no I have used superglue before only once a long time ago for a spoiler on my p1 and it did the job well I think any good quality superglue that drys completely clear will do you may need to hold it in position for 5/10min to make sure it sets correctly hope it works out 👍
Interestingly i think BBR is starting what AutoArt done longer ago. Getting lazy and re-releasing models with some new ones mixed in for way too much money for what you get. At least BBR are keeping up the quality so far. I do think however that these new companies have it so easy cause the established brands leave so much space for attack. Greed never works well for companies long term
Hi yes totally agree BBR will be re releasing models moving forward I think but your right the quality of models the newer ones from BBR do look good and better than the AUTOart versions I don’t think I would be getting any new AUTOart models 👍
The AA porsche 918 is for sure one of the worst composite model releases especially for its price so I don't think it's a fair point of comparison. Some of the other and later composite models are not bad like the agera rs, the only issue aside from material is the PRICE and use of textured plastic vs decals/tampos for carbon. I have the LCD barchetta and it's a real nice model with plenty of detail and a much better price but does not compare to the older signatures and the almost real pagani (albeit both of those are a lot more expensive especially the AA zondas). Patiently awaiting my almost real cinque though
Hi yes I’ve heard a lot about almost real looking to get the Zonda they have just released your right the main issue with these composite models from AUTOart especially is the price the price is not justified. I paid over £200 for the 918 new and it’s so not worth and probably lost more than half of that by now it will be my first and last model with AUTOart I prefer to focus on the signature series models! Please subscribe for more videos to come thanks 👍
@@CarsWithHNK yeah most of the composites completely tank in value which should be informing autoart about where their newer models really stand. LCD models have really picked up in popularity and I see the HP barchetta went up in price as more and more people are jumping on them. It will be interesting to compare the AR cinque vs the autoart zonda r (excluding prices because the autoart for sure is not worth 2x the price of the almost real).
@@cammy589ify yeah absolutely I’ve been trying to add one to my collection over the past few weeks and they are quite sought after now the lcd model hopefully soon 👍

get the Barchetta instead of the Huayra, you won't be disappointed ;) also I'm very interested to see the comparison between bbr and lcd
Hi yes I’m thinking of the Barchetta more it would be cool to do a comparison video and look forward to sharing it on the channel 👍
