That's a great jacket, and a good video, thank you. I have a stack of old denim and this is just what I was looking for. I was going to try it solo but I'm only a medium-skilled sewer (I stand in awe of your buttonholes) having your vid for guidance will be a really big help. I'm going to shorten it a bit and I might pass on the flap pockets but instead add slash pockets at the top and on the sides. Wish me luck :)
