So happy the it was Lindsey who got to interview her! My favorite mousketeer with a legend. I was sad when I read about Annette's passing. But now she's in Heaven, dancing again, quite possibly with Walt Disney by her side.
I wish I could have have had an oppurtunity to meet Annette. I can only imagine that she was a very exceptional lady. Wow! What a class act! A tough act to follow. Thanks so much for the memories, Annette. May your legacy live on through many generations to come. ❤
I send prayers and thoughts to Glen and Annette's family at this time of loss. I met Annette twenty years ago on a flight from JFK to LAX and she was gracious, very nice, talked to her fans, and always signed an autograph for fans. She truly loved her fans and anyone she met. I was diagnosed with MS about two years ago and Annette gave me the strength to continue. I'm doing very well, but wish I could get my sea legs!
Hi, I have had MS since 2001 and lately have been looking for anywhere I could order a bottle of Cello. She still brings encouragement today. My condolences to Annettes widower. You both loved each other so much.
I cried when I heard about her death from MS. I know she was here on this earth for ALL of us to entertain and make us feel good about ourselves. She was the IDEAL FEMALE and PERSONALITY that showed everyone what A CLASS ACT should be. RIP dear Annette.
I used to think Lindsey favored Annette. I'm glad that I was able to watch reruns of the old MMC. It made me a huge Annette fan. Then, in 1989 when the All New Mickey Mouse Club came out I was geeked! Because of Annette, I learned a little bit about MS early in my life. So when I was diagnosed in my late 20s I wasn't completely clueless. I am glad Annette is no longer suffering from this illness and I know she is dancing and singing in heaven.
Brandi, I'm sure they'll find a cause and a cure. It will take time though. I hope it will happen in our lifetime. I too have been a fan of Annette's for years, having enjoyed her movies and her music. Her Skippy peanut butter commercials are still fresh in my mind to this day. I hope that you're doing well and I hope you'll be better in the future. Thanks so much for sharing. ~Your friend and fellow Annette fan,Mike~
I remember as kids during the 50s we loved Annette and her last name. We prided ourselves on the fact that we could pronounce it. No trouble for us. We thought her name was cool. ❤
I didn't grow up with Annette like so many people did in the 50's. I was born in 1965 when she started making all of the beach party movies. I've gotten to know her from watching videos like this on Utube. She was such a kind and sweet person! A true star! Rest in Peace Annette. We love you and miss you! P. S. Say hi to my Mom and Walt Disney for me!
Same here. I was born in 1966. I first knew who she was through the Skippy peanut butter commercials she did in the 70s and 80s. I wish I would have had the oppurtunity and the honor to have met her. Annette, you've brought a lot of smiles to a lot of generations and we're all very grateful and we love you for that. May God be with you! Please say hi to my Mom and Dad as well as to my brothers,Joe and Paul as well as Mr. Disney, Cheryl and Doreen in Heaven for me. For the record,I enjoyed your movies tremendously as well. Once again, thank you for all the memories that you've given many through many generations over the years, mine included and once again,God be with you. ❤ P.S. Great job, Lindsey! 👍

Brandi~ I agree! Lindsey always reminded me of Annette and while sad over her passing, I'm glad she's no longer suffering.

I remember Linday's 1993 interview with Annette like it was yesterday, hard to believe its been 20 years since this interview aired. RIP Annette
I honestly feel that if there were more people like Annette, this world would be a better place.
Thumbs up if you want this season of the show back on television for its 20th anniversary.

RIP Annette Funicello, your memory will live on forever
The interviewer Lindsey was fantastic but Annette was a gracious host and a wonderful good hearted woman.

I almost started crying when they sang together at the end. That was so sad :(

Rip Annette
I love this
P.S. Hugs to you in your fight with MS.
It would be cool if you would upload the Mickey Mouse tribute special on the 1 year anniversary of Annette's death.
Lindsey and Annette were my two favorites!
Bob Costas couldn't have done this interview better himself. Good job,Lindsey!
check out Walts tie at 3.41,hilarious 🤣🤣
heard of that, sorry for her though
Annette is the only Mouseketeer from the original series to be on all three incarnations of the MMC on television, 50s, 70s, 90s
I honestly feel that Annette could both pass for sisters. Particular in personality.
Does anyone have this full episode?
Aww disney was better as a paid channel! :-(
