I have the 555P and it struggles with some serious 5-6 inch cherry.. some of it is operator error I just think the bearings can’t handle the pressure not so much the engine and the blade goes behind the bearings and the blade just gets beat up hitting the bearings. Something to do with tension I think as well. I’m using their recommended setting for blade thickness… tried all different configurations as well. Frustrating when you pay so much for a tool. Anyhow buyer beware on these grizzly saws
