  • Fitting or installing guttering and downpipes to remove rainwater from your roof or porch is not a difficult job but there are many different parts to contend with. Taking rainwater to water butts from garden sheds, house roofs or outbuildings can save a lot of money and time when it comes to watering the garden and beating a hose-pipe ban.

    The line should have been tied to the far bracket be level with the lowest point of the curve as it was at the nearest bracket. As you had it, any fall you wanted was removed.

      As long as the The line is tied to the same place on all brackets and the vracket furthest from the downpipe is higher than the one nearest it, there will be a fall in the run
