This is such an amazing timeless video! Thank you for giving so many different options. The more I am working on pattern modifications and drafting, the more I find myself learning from your videos!
Thanks for sharing this information, your videos have been a huge help to me as a new sewist. I have a pattern with a yoke already and I’m wondering after making this adjustment will the set-in sleeve still fit or will an adjustment need to be made to it? Thank you.
i guess Im randomly asking but does anybody know a trick to get back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid lost the password. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer me.
thanks for the good tutorial. while using the third method of eliminating the back dart do i need to add the same amount of ease to the front armhole, neck and also to the sleeves?
hi, thank you for this tutorial, it's very usefull.I want to ask you is it possible to transfer the volume of the back shoulder dart in the princess seam in the back?
The back shoulder dart becomes the shaping in the princess seam. Keep the dart position in the back mid-shoulder for a vertical princess seam (shoulder to waist). For a princess seam that extends from the armhole, the dart must be transferred to the armhole.
I really love your way of explanation but the one i was actually looking for is outer shoulder dart. It looks so easy on a picture of my book but there's zero explanation and i struggle to find out where legs of the dart should be situated. Don't you have a tutorial for this weird dart? :)
Mam I had sewn a blouse ,but I happened to get a fairly large waist dart on my back bodice about a 1.5/1.75 inch .How can I reduce its width by dart manipulation or dart transfer Could you help with proper presentation of it with a paper bodice pattern
The back waist dart has limited options for dart transfer. A 1 1/2" total dart volume is Ok at the back waist as long as it isn't drawing in the waist too much at that specific location. If it is you can distribute some of it's volume to the side seam shaping insead.
Thank you for sharing this video. The pattern used are small and are far from our view to follow your explanation effectively. Please use big patterns and zoom it's viewing closer for viewing. Thank you.
Thank you so much! I have a question for you: when we have that ease on shoulder / neck / armhole seam, do we change anything in sleeve pattern? And how do we make a facing for the neck line, is it without ease? Thank you!!
thank you so much, i really love your tutorial videos, could you make more videos in fitting issues of lingerie,swimwear... look forward to them soon :))

If the garment has a yoke use the yoke seam as an invisible dart. The sleeve won’t change.
One terrific teacher!
This might help me with my scoliosis issue. I wish there was a way that I could bookmark the fine points of what you are doing.

Mariia Sherstinova the sleeve doesn’t change, the neckline facing is made without the ease added
