this was actually fun to learn. I already have basic knowledge off pattern making but it's nice to repeat again, because I forget stuff a lot. You explain very calmly and clear what I like. Usually you-tubers are over excited which kinda gets into my way of understanding everything. English isn't my first language too so sometimes I've to double check some terms. Thank you
U make excellent vedios and have immense knowledge. I hv a question the trumpet part of the sleeve has curved upper seam while the main sleeve has straight lower seam, will it cause any problems while sewing it?
Hi Alexandra, Do we have to cut the seam allowances off the bottom part (that will later become the trumpet) before slashing and pivoting to add flare and then add seam allowances later?
Hi Kay, it's best if you design your patterns using seamless basic blocks. Seam allowances always confuse the pattern design process. Always add them after you've completed the pattern development process.

Don't forget to add a seam allowance to each piece you cut apart where you will be sewing them back together. :)

you didnt say what to do if your lines dont measure the same on each side
