This was one of my favorite of their performances. I love the story they told with the mashup, and the talent just radiated through the whole performance. Loved your reaction as well!
So damn good, you are SO right, there’s a million beautiful singing voices out there but the complexity of what and how they arrange their songs combined with their passion and musicality on top of their execution is just so entertaining and enjoyable. They are just so f-ing amazing 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 just another level
They understood the difference between a Mashup and a medley, and they really were top notch at it! Throughout the sing off, te bass and percussion were the foundation for those 3 beautiful voices.
They are masterful at the mashups! From what I hear, the other groups sang part of one song then sang part of another song and that was their mashup. They didn't do what PTX did by blending the two songs smoothly going back and forth. It is quite amazing to me! It is so awesome, to this day! Thank you for your time in doing all these reactions! You're great! Still don't know what Ben was talking about when he said he heard them out of tune. Can't find it after watching how many times. ??
He questioned the chord when they sang (backup style) “since, you, been gone,” in the key and style of “Forget You.” The “gone” chord was a choice, to have the bottom note a couple steps lower than it “should” be, given the way the arrangement was presented, to open the chord up to have more depth. I’ve always noticed something slightly “off,” there, but I disagree with Ben, and think it was a choice, not a mistake. Was the choice the mistake? Hard to tell, but either way, this song is still one I seek out often to jam to, so it didn’t detract from the music.
@@Bobal27 Appreciate the information. I just didn't pick up on anything with my ear. I would probably have to agree with you about it being a choice after all this time of listening to PTX arrangements!
I love this one. It's fun but it's amazingly complex to run two songs simultaneously and so smoothly. Kevin and Avi have the tempo changes completely under control, holding the whole thing together and making it seem like one song. How Kirsty and Scott kept to their own parts is incredible!
This group was special since the beginning, they blend so well! They were the winners. Incluso antes de terminar la temporada, ellos ya eran ganadores. Al menos yo siempre pensé eso en aquel entonces😌👍🏻 Pareciera que estuvieron en un mismo vientre y al nacer los hubieran separado😆. The Chemistry! It's unbelievable.
I think there are a couple of performances after they won the season where they came back and utilized all of their voices that they were told not to use during their original season.
They all just really came into their own on this one. Avi and Kevin held the whole thing together, Scott and Kirsty singing a duet of two entirely different songs, and Mitch jumping backwards and forwards to harmonising with Kirsty and then with Scott and then with Kirsty again all through the song. They all did so well to hold together such a complex arrangement.
Oh boy. #11, and it's 0340 here. Just thought I'd leave a little comment for the infamous UA-cam algorithm. I wonder if it's a conspiracy they made up to check how effective it is. 🤔
It was brilliant to mash the songs into a "conversation".
It worked wonderfully.

Just waiting it out...everybody knows it's over...just formalities now...except for the final showstopper to come!
Great to see you enjoying the ptx rabbit hole with us,Thanks
You little, big, buddy wants some attention.
Masters of the mashup.

@@Bobal27 thank you for the great explanation, I hear it now but didn’t before 🤗

So good!! Amazing!! I'm out of superlatives to describe them my d*mn self. You do such a great job reacting to them. Thanks so much. 🤗😄🤗
