Great video! I'm starting up retreats in San Juan after moving here last year. Life coaching in paradise is so much better than my old high school teaching job. Happy to share info to others from beautiful Puerto Rico :)
Thank you for this video 🙏🏾 I am in the process of starting my travel and event planning business and want to focus on retreats for couples and families. I wanted to use PR as well but may use Costa Rica.
I have a very similar vision for a small women’s retreat that I’d like to post on an ongoing basis. I’m thinking about details like stocking the fridge for breakfast and noshes. I’m sure there’s literally endless ways that people can structure these kinds of things. I mainly wondering what women might appreciate as amenities while sharing a house for a retreat?
I initially booked on Homeaway which is now VRBO and unfortunately does not have a record of the home. But if you go to VRBO I'm sure you can find a similar location!
Hi Stacey I would recommend contacting your insurance provider or a legal professional. There are a lot of factors and the best way to get an answer for this is to ask a professional and have them draft a contract specific for your retreat.
The first retreat was not profitable because I included it as part of the coaching package. On the second and third retreat I charged it separately and that's when it was profitable.
Remember that the retreat is an experience. Fill it with experiences first. Then determine the transformation that you want each client to have by the end, and start creating sessions like that.

Great info. I like the idea of making it easy with a private chef and staying in a villa in PR. Thanks!

That would be a great question to add in a survey for your audience. You'll get to see who is interested and what they want.
Thank you for this wisdom!
You're welcome!
Love your energy
Could you share info/link to pr location you rented if you’d recommend I’d like to do a retreat same place 😊🙏🏽 GREAT content, thanks for posting

Thank you i was asked to do a retreat and I’m lost. Also I would like info on your retreats
I did an updated video on the 2020 retreat also that would help
Thanks for the video!!
I'm curious how you and your guests stay safe during covid on your retreats?
Our last retreat was Feb 2020. We didn't host one in 2021 but I did visit our retreat location to assess the changes in the area.
How did you profit money from the retreat ?
The first retreat was not profitable because I included it as part of the coaching package. On the second and third retreat I charged it separately and that's when it was profitable.
Did you stay in the home with the ladies or did you Have a separate spot to rest etc? Great info btw.
Yes we all stayed in the house together. In 2021 we will be in separate rooms in a hotel.
How did you format your coaching structure to fulfill the duration of thw retreat? I’m struggling
